KRE-O Nation | Join KRE-O

When registering for Kre-O Nation, after clicking "Join" and entering your birthdate, you are prompted to create a username using names from the dropdown menus. Among these names is "Tailgate", which is the only name in the entire list that has NOT appeared in Kre-O yet.

Is there yet another Minibot on the way to join up with Bumblebee, Windcharger, Beachcomber and the rest? What are your thoughts?

 

Man, I got all excited thinking there was a picture of a Tailgate Kreon...

We need more MTMTE Kreons. We got, what, 3? Trailcutter and the upcoming Rodimus and Cyclonus, none of which are really based on their MTMTE selves anyways.

 

It'd be so easy to put them in blind packs, or a set, or ANYTHING.

 

It'd be awesome, if they made little Kreons or sets based on the Comics.  

In any sense, if we get a Tailgate, that'll be great.

Ok, so technically there are quite a few bots from MTMTE in Kreon form, but virtually none of the characters you actually think of when you hear "MTMTE". No Whirl or Swerve or Rewind or Rung or Ultra Magnus (or Minimus Ambus) or Pharma or Tyrest or Chromedome or Brainstorm or Tarn or Misfire or Skids or...

 

Not to sound picky, since you might have meant this in the first place but a white and blue Windcharger redeco would be closer to the mark.

That would all depend on which version of Tailgate it would be based upon, either G1, or Prime.

 

I'd hope a Kreon Tailgate would be based of the G1/MTMTE Tailgate, and not the Prime one. That'd just be stupid if they went for the Tailgate that literally did nothing but die instead of the Tailgate that played a huge part in one of the best-loved TF series.

 

I'd prefer a G1 Tailgate toy too, but that doesn't mean Prime Tailgate shouldn't have more toys.

I think you may be overstating what you are seeing here. The way I read it, I see a list that pulls in a bunch of characters prominent in Generation 1 and the Movies, and a whole lot of the named cast of Transformers Prime. Perhaps that is where it came from. Perhaps it is just someone tasked with making the list thought it was a cool name.

But, the fact that Tailgate is getting a new Legends class toy, and the fact that there is a Windcharger which could be used to redeco into this one does support your view, so let's meet halfway and call this a rumour. Because I am not sure (particularly after reading one UK retailer's comments about the future of Micro Changers being up in the air) that this is anything more than a coincidence.

 

Speaking of Kreons, when does Wave 4 release?

With little to no info I'm surprised this was front paged at all.

I agree, this means nothing. With the exception of wave 4 blind packs and wave 2 customizers (both of which are expected to be released early 2014) I would not expect to see anything Kre-o related that does not have a connection with the movie. Hasbro has already said that 2014 TF Kre-o line will be based off the TF4 movie.
