Nailed it. By this point we all know what to expect from bayformers, so if they're not your thing, then there is no real point getting upset over it.

At least what he described was far more creative then this design.

The point is, that while not all of us like this latest design either, we've also had three trainwre... err, movies worth of proof and preparation of what NOT to expect anymore. So after all these years, if you somehow thought or expected Grimlock to actually look like Grimlock, well, you just set yourself up for massive disappointment... which you're clearly having as we are seeing through your nonstop repetitive posts. Even as a non-movieformer fan, I even have to tell you to chill and just deal with it. No amount of complaining is going to change a single thing. And yes, by now, we most certainly know that you loathe it. Message received.

I'm looking at the robot mode.

I can see the Trex head is the shoulders, the weapons is the tail, but I can't tell which would be the Trex feet.

Silhouettes don't typically convey all of the design's details.

No but, actually having the who design to judge makes far more sense than disregarding it from the little shown.

    Woo! Post #4000!

Yeah, you do. Because while movie OP might have had those handful of original design callbacks, remember all the things that Ironhide, Jazz, Sideswipe, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Ratchet, Skids, Arcee, Wheelie, Mirage, WheeljaQue, Jetfire, Devastator, Frenzy, Skorponok, Bonecrusher and Sentinel Prime DIDN'T have by comparison - namely, instant visual recognition of who/what you're even looking at. So again, how or why you would expect that to be different with Michael Bay's Grimlock is beyond confounding. Logic, my friend, use it.

Who gives a shit about them. Grimlock is AS FAMOUS AND POWERFUL AND IMPORTANT as Optimus is. You have horrible logic.

I don't think the tail is the weapon, it looks like the tail splits and forms the skirty thing.

Ahhh okay, there it is, confirmation that we're dealing with a 14-16 year old kid. Now it all makes sense.
