Dunno, I quite like Megatron here. Not a big Decepticon fan so I guess that's saying something.

 

Damn those cartoon colors on Prime are NICE! I want that one! I have Classics Prime paired with my FansProject DIA Commander armor, and I have Darkside Optimus because it looks cool. I'd love to get this one because cartoon homages like this are cool to me. That's what happened after watching the G1 DVD's.

 

Leo Liger is no surprise: It is Takaratomy after all. I wonder they will use predaking or similar figure and give a Zoid look.

Megatron: Well Done. (I hope someone make a solid blade and not noodle blade.)

Prime: After I have seen all the classic prime repaints, I would not spend on it unless you do not own the classic mold.

I haven't brought a non-MP Transformer in quite awhile, but I will be buying that Megatron!

Easy pass, getting tired of seeing almost every Decepticon as a car or a Tank. They can still make toy guns that look more realistic just with orange plugs or barrels, but Hasbro can't make a space canon or something....

And I'd rather efforts be spent on new molds of Prime and Megatron, I don't much like that Classics Prime mold, and I am waiting on them to make that IDW Prime as a Voyager or something....get on the ball HasTak....do it already instead of crap like this. Or I don't know, make a new Classirations Prime that looks G1 that isn't a pile of shit like that one mold that always comes in a 2-pack.

Well, Here come the transformer version of "Decade" Prime.

 

Both look great. I'm not crazy about that megs head, but still awesome. I wish they would just re-issue that voyager op.

 

Wow, that Prime looks gorgeous! Might even be better than the Henkei version!

 

Yeah, I will be picking up that Optimus. I know folks are saying that the mold is outdated but IMO it still captures the essence of Optimus and I still like the design.

Yes. It would be great if Hasbro released these in the US. I'd like to buy a Voyager OP for non-aftermarket pricing.

 

Hm, Orion is better. They'll probably be the same price as well.

 

Hasbro usually respects Japanese store exclusives exclusivity. So if they did release a gray Megatron tank or another Optimus they'd be different from these.

All I'm saying is that we are really, really overdue for a Classics Voyager Optimus Prime. Whether it's a reissue of this mold or a completely new mold doesn't really matter to me as long as it's a decent O.P., whom we haven't seen in this scale since 2006. There are dozens of the character in Animated, Movie and Prime molds, but only one for Classics. I want an Optimus for my Autobot display. That's all.

 

It's odd to me that Hasbro has let this go on for this long.

 

Hmmm.... the old Voyager Optimus mold but with a toon accurate deco (white thighs) but missing his silver stripe in alt mode, but he comes with a minicon. And Megatron is just a gray ROTF Bludgeon redeco. Not sure if I like what I'm seeing here. I do like my Henkei Convoy but the mold is getting up on years. And the Bludgeon mold for Megatron isn't something I think really fits the character. Will need to see clearer pics.
