Obviously, but the bottom line is, if it didn't sell, Takara Tomy wouldn't be putting out the mold again and again. Yes, a number of fans might decry the multiple repaints/rereleases, but the Classics/Henkei Prime/Convoy mold is just really really good and very popular with fans. Not only has it been released multiple times by Has/Tak ( and sold very well), it's one of the most popular KO figures ever.

 

Eh, I'll just get Optimus, but I might have to pass on that GDO/ Movieverse tank bot

 

Wow! I love Optimus colors, finally white thighs and not silver! If the price is right, I probably cannot pass on that mold again this time.

Sometimes it really pays off to wait and not just buy what they release the first, second or third time

Autobase Achii is thinking there might be 12 figures for this Cloud thingy (there are supposidly 6 episodes of it and the first one has OP and Megs).

 

Will these be on pre-order like regular stuff on tfsource or where can I buy them?

I think both turned out fairly well. The black seems to work with Optimus. I was a little worried that it would clash too much. That Megatron looks damn fine. I really wish it had a samurai style cuirass rather than the bludgeon chest-face, especially the pre-firearms lamellar style.

 

I already have a superb Henkei Optimus so I might just go with Megatron if he is cheaper than Henkei Megatron

 

Now who is the anyhoo whom thought there are no preorder for these badboys whereby there is actually preoder,haha

wait like I do, ebay will have them shortly in decent quantity oop, for roughly 30US a piece (it's what I've paid, not what they all went for)

that includes oop united UM and tokyo toy wonderfest versions BEFORE they were sold in package... and I got them waaaay before the KO's began surfacing.

I'd pay 100 for both including shipping, but not 100 for each.

The guy probably got factory excess pieces. A number of them pop up from time to time.

 

Is there a reason Prime's windvane is black, other than looking awful? I'm fine with the guns and it looks good in robot mode, but it looks AWFUL in vehicle mode.

Megs looks great, though. I definitely prefer the GDO version, but he looks very nice in those colors.

 

I painted my classics optimus just like this guy (minus the black windvane)
they both look great; $'s would be the only thing that holds me back on this

 

Already have Henkei Optimus and Bludgeon and Banzitron of that Megatron mold. Pass on both.
