I will probably eventually get this one and put some dark tint or paint or something over those windows, but as it is now I'm not in a hurry. There's voyagers I'm more interested in than this

 

It's Hasbro changing plastic colors and which parts are gang-molded with which and being cheap about it.

The proto at NYCC had opaque gray plastic on the sword with the blade painted yellow, and the windows and light piping were an accurate smoked clear. (The shield was also chromed, that application being moved to the chest on the final production piece). Later, they must have decided they wanted a clear yellow blade, so the final version is cast in clear plastic with the hilt painted silver and, to save money I guess, the windows and light piping are now on the same sprue as the sword. Hence, yellow windows and eyes.

 

Looks great.. Slowly growing on me especially after seeing the movie. The truck mode really looks nice. Not sure if I should jump and get it. Afraid Hasbro might do a better one though for TF 5, much like the improvements they did to the first movie leader prime for ROTF....
