that was my point, yes. Grammer is a great actor, and I'm sure he will be great in the movie.

But 100% of why I'm seeing these movies is that there are Transformers in them. I accept that there are people in the movies and that a human story is necessary to the narrative, but that has no bearing on my interest in the films.

 

There's some truth to this. I myself didn't care that much that MEagan Fox didn't return but DotM is the only TF movie I haven't seen with my niece so when I asked her did she like it, she was like,"Yeah, but not as much as the previous ones." Although she couldn't pin down why, I'm almost positive it's because she got Sam and Carly as a couple in the end instead of Mikaela since Carly is somewhat reminiscent of Maggie and she can't stand her (it's the accent).

 

Kelsey Grammer is magnificent. He's having a blast which is good.

 

I too watch these movies for the transformers. But lets face it, these movies don't completely focus on the Transformers. So of course many of us get excited when there is an actor or actress we really like in them.

Well, every Bay films needs at least one 'grumpy man in a suit,' and Kelsey will fill that role well.

 

Yeah. Like, I anticipate it, but seeing Kelsey Grammer play whatever kind of character he plays is kind of exciting.

 

Nothing here we didn't already know - and seeing as its a human character who likely will be killed off by the end of the movie - I personally don't care. If we hear news of him signing on for a second - then I'll be interested, but with only one movie his chances of surviving are slim.

Well, it's good that there's still re-runs of Frasier. I was really excited when I heard that Patrick Dempsey was going to be in Dark of the Moon, but I'm so much more excited for this.

 

I love that Kelsey Grammer has become the rallying point behind which all Transforners fans can unite. Regardless of our varying opinions of the movie franchise, we can all stand behind our love of Kelsey Grammer. I hope he has as much fun making the movie as we will have watching his performance.

 

If they make a HA figure of Kelsey Grammer, they should make one of David Hyde Pierce to go along with it...ya know, just for good measure

Some weird elitism in this thread. I'll say this - I love Grammer, and I love Wahlberg, and I am very excited to see these two actors in TF4. Say what you want...

Wahlberg is barely an actor, and is a vile racist to boot. I will be seeing this film despite his presence.
