Same with me all I buy is Masterpiece and the new Beast Wars Generations toys. Nothing else Transformers related gets my money.

 

Yeah, I think there's a big leap between hating a recolor at a general release pricepoint and one that commands the price Masterpiece figures do.

As for G2...well I posted my own attatchment to him earlier, but I'd say that for worldwide appeal (and TT aren't dumb, they know perfectly well these get imported pretty heavily) it makes more sense to go with a G2 deco for Sideswipe, which got worldwide release near the peak of the target market's collecting, then a few Diaclone homages that only the hardest of the diehards know well...outside of the niche web exclusive E-Hobby releases. If it were me I'd have released G2 before even thinking about the yellow Countach

 

It was only about 6-8 months ago when lots of people were like "why tigertrack? easy pass, etc...". Then come June the panic hit and people were buying it up left and right.

Easy Prediction:

Same thing happens with G2 SS.


What I what is a chromed version of MP-12. I saw a custom one somewhere and my jaw dropped. I'd pay double for that.



Edit: By the way edbomber.com has SS for 69.99 and SB for 149.99 right now. That's a sweet deal.

 

I will have to think about this. As most, I only want Ratbat. I have TRU and have TT MP-13 on the way due to the lower Japanese price on the second run. I jumped on the MP-13 because I didnt think TRU was going to have all the accessories and I like the red eyes. Im a little disappointed I bit but its not a huge deal. I should have waited and gotten this. So IF I somehow talk myself into this, how pissed will I be if TT releases Ratbat as part of a future tape release?

I'm a sucker for anything G2, so Sideswipe's an automatic buy on sight!

Soundblaster, though, tempting as he is since I prefer repaints, I might just stick with the Hasbro release of Soundwave and just get Ratbat separately.

 

If anyone wants to sell their Ratbat, let me know!

Oh, G2 sideswipe's looks kind of awesome with that paintjob, especially those tinted windows...but do I need another? Haha. Akready got the three lambos out. Soundblaster looks pretty cool too.

I speculated this release for so long. It was a given he would come with ratbat.

I currently have soundwave V2 on order but am contemplating cancelling and just picking up soundblaster. I dont really like doubles but they are both my favourite transformer. I may get both.

I'm curious if he will come with the premium glossy paint like MP10b, also if theres any distinct new accessory he will come with aside Ratbat.

This guy is going to look so fucking amazing next to Masterpiece Galvatron & Cyclonus!

I didn't like the idea of Soundblaster at first.... just to get Ratbat.... but I realized I could just display SB in alt mode. I'm kind of okay with that. Hope if there are ANY plans for a Ratbat single release, they better mention it before I shell out for Soundblaster.

 

Not interested in G2 Swipes. Never really cared for him much in the G2 Comic. Soundblaster other the other hand is something I would very much like to get. Since it comes out in March I just may be able to scratch together the money for him. Now if I can just lock a preorder in with one of the asian sites.

Hoping for a KO Ratbat, glad I ordered G2 Sideswipe months ago. Maybe Hasbro will make Ratbat a HTS exclusive

 

Now all we need is a MP Blaster and his Tapes.

That said, A Shattered Glass MP Soundwave with a couple of his tapes would be cool as well. (I'm thinking Ratbat and Ravage)

I have no attachment to Sounblaster, but I want a MP Ratbat to join the rest of my MP tapes. So unless I watch headmasters between now and Sounblaster's release and develop a strong connection to the character, you bet your ass I'll be dumping him on junkion or ebay as soon as I get the set.
