    First look at Treadshot.

    The Official Transformers Collectors' Club

Didn't see this in the Transmutate thread and thought it warranted its own post. Still want to hear about the rest of the figures myself.

The Warpath head is a bit of a stretch compared to Treadshot's original, but it doesn't look too bad. I'm most interested to see how the Chromedome-from-TFP-Wheeljack turns out.

Am I the only one thinking the RiD Vehicon mold would have worked better for Chromedome (especially if they're going for MTMTE Domey)?

I actually think the head works pretty darn well. It's round, like Treadshot's, it has a faceplate like Treadshot. The only significant difference is that it has eyes instead of a visor.

I'm really looking forward to this guy. It's the perfect repaint for Warpath, even more so than Gutcruncher or Treds.

I love that this is being made, now I just hope some 3rd party group decides to make a G1 styled head for him.

Hopefully we will see the other five soon. So far the only new head we know of is Chromedome.

Yeah, Treads, or Beast Machines Tankor are the best options for Warpath redecoes.
Personally i'd rather see Gutcruncher wearing the Generations Blitzwing body. Dude had a tank mode once upon a time, and his action master toy came with a jet

(Btw Pete, if you're reading this, feel free to use my idea. I don't care about compensation, hell i don't even want credit, i just wanna see it happen)

not my thing, i'd prefer gutcruncher or even treds to finally be done from good ole warpath but i guess with this there still a chance slim or whatever of a retail redeco of warpath that could be either gutcruncher or treds.

I like it. Probably won't join the sub service for it, but I will pick it up. Those Prime Retools/recolors actually look pretty damn good, but with all the Takara only stuff, I have given up on being a Prime completionist (and that is where they would go in my collection).

Was there anything posted about any of the rest of the TFSS 2.0 figures at Botcon or SDCC?
*edit: nm, I found the post from Botcon revealing 3 of the 6 figures (names and molds, not pics). I guess the other 3 haven't been revealed.

I'm quite curious what they're planning for this next set of figures.

The one shown looks kind of cool but not really familiar with the character.

    Treadshot looks nice so far.

Gutcruncher from Blitzwing would be an awesome nod to everything about him! The club couldn't do Doubledealer as planned... Maybe they can do that instead?

I'm still hoping to see Waspinator from Botcon Thundercracker/Skywarp and BW Silverbolt from BH Dreadwing.

Considering that there will be two retail Waspinators soon, I doubt there will be a TFCC one, too.

With a new body sometimes comes a new face. We've had less accurate exclusive toys that have been repainted straight without a remold from toys they have no previous relation to.

Both retail Waspinators represent his beast mode. A TFCC one would represent his Cybertronian mode.

A black Warpath redeco with red and grey highlights sounds good. A new head would have been great.

But then one of the other toys who did get a new head wouldn't have gotten their new head.

Its about priorities. Warpath's head works well for Treadshot even though its not completely accurate to his original toy.

I got that, I just don't see TFCC doing a third Waspinator, considering they weren't allowed to do Doubledealer because Hasbro had plans for a retail version.
