At Comic-Con I stopped by the shout factory booth. As you know the final season of Prime is coming out soon on DVD and blu-ray with no new announcements as to their involvement with Tranfsormers.

So I fielded the question to them at their booth "What are the odds of you releasing Transformers Animated on DVD next?"

The response from the Shout factory rep was a somewhat sly "I'd say it's very possible." I followed up with "Would that include the unreleased Season 3?" to which he responed again "I'd say it's very possible."

So if what he says is to be believed we may finally have the complete Transformers Animated series finally available on DVD. No idea when sadly.

I really hope this happens. I want to throw money at them. They just need to give me the chance.

 

This pleases me. But I won't get my hopes up. I hope they include the Botcon comic like they did for the Beast Wars set.

This is welcome news. I'm just gonna be greedy, and ask for a whole slew of blu ray extras, including what might have happened in season 4.

 

Extras, better quality (both audio and visual), being able to buy something from Transformers Animated again.

 

I don't wanna get my hopes up but I do.

 

Good, I need to own season 3! I think it's past time to dream of a season 4, but still.

 

Until it gets taken down for whatever reason.

Also yeah, Youtube quality over actual DVD?

 

If it were to go on Blu-ray, I'd snatch it up for sure.

After all, we do have HD copies of the episodes now floating around online.
