Do Orci and Friend actually write for the show, though? I thought they were producers. I mean, I don't want them to write, but I'm trying to get facts straight.
Hurmmm good points. and yes your right thats exactly what I am worried about. Great example with Marvel haha!
I assume it will be the TFP art style but with less realistic/complicated detailing. Hasbro wants to make simpler toys for kids now, so it is probable that the future cartoons will look less detailed for the sake of the also simpler toys don't end up looking like cheap versions of the show designs. And again, being less detailed than the last show while still looking good is NOT hard even if it stays with 3D animation! Predaking's CGI model had 400+ separate parts. That is more detail than an entire group of charactors in most CGI shows out right now.
TFWiki says they're executive producers. Maybe they oversee writing? When I think producers, I don't usually think creative input. I gotta say, I have no problem with that. I kind of miss the toys being near dead-on depictions with no cheating. (or at least, no actual cheating. Faux parts notwithstanding as long as they're faux parts on teh mdoels as well) As long as the show models aren't, well, massive toys.
"OMGS PRIME IS TO DARK, TO VIOLENT, G1 WAS NEVER LIKE THIS!" "OMGS THE APPARENT SEQUEL TO PRIME IS GONNA BE MORE CHILDFRIENDLY LIKE G1, WE WANT MORE DEATH..." That's all i am reading here albeit a few...I believe Prime has the biggest body count of any TF show, considering the only ones who would die in other continuitys would be either Megs or Optimus, (G1 may have more...but that's only cause of the movie) maybe a few a long the way, but not nearly the amount prime had, and if any did, they weren't as Graphic. I think this is fine, i can sense something along the lines of Energon happening, considering Cybertron has been restored, and lets be fair, if Energon used 2D graphics it would of been A LOT better...
Ha, perhaps. That one I have not seen The original was always cool in reruns at least. I'm only going by the things I have seen that they worked on.
Well, it would've LOOKED a lot better. That is if the cel animation was as good as the few bits with the robots that were hand-drawn and not how some of the people ended up looking.
I wouldn't count on it. However, I'd very much like to see Smokescreen carry over into the new series where his character could continue to grow and mature as a fighter and possible future leader. This doesn't necessarily mean that he would become a Prime, but he could head up a rebuilt Elite Guard and help train new recruits.
Oh man thats why i loved TF Prime tho it was Fantastic for the artistic detail they did. as an Animator I really appreciate that when they put in that kind of effort into their series. really makes it something special to me at least. Yea even if they do simplify the designs that would be okay i suppose. Many of the toys couldnt quite capture the level of detial the characters had on the screen for that reason.
Y'Know, after the news we got from the TokuNation Guy came, I was Pissed. This isn't all THAT bad. I liked the Violent vibe from Prime But Hopefully, It'll be just as good. Though I don't want a Rescue Bots Vibe in the new cartoon, hopefully I'll watch it. If I like it as much as Prime I'll Get some of the Figures. But right now, I'm focusing on TF4. Soon we'll have more Info.
Basically tone down Knock Out comments and some of the situations. Uh Body count does that include the drones. However lets make more simple because kids don't watch MTV :Eyeroll I do not mind animation versus cgi
I dont know... most of Knockouts coments were prety tame to me... granted no more talk of Interfacing though... XD I would like to see him in the next installment.
Speaking of KO, i wonder if he will be an Autobot, The last ep of Prime showed he wanted to "Join the winning team" until Miko wacked him... Could be like Demolisher and Cyclonus in Energon
Let me put it this way if Transformers Prime felt like a cross between Beast Wars & Beast Machines which were the best written and darkest Transformer Series shown on Tv then the follow up to Prime is sounding like the old G1 Series in tone. A better example : Remember how Dark the 1st 2 Gundam Series were whereas the 3rd was more kid friendly.
That would be interesting now wouldn't it... The Autbots have their hands full with him... He sneak out to race all the time and whine about his finish Phah!
