dont read to much into that. What his character is, is a self motivated want to be inventor. He TRIES to invent new gadgets and improve on already existing things. Hes a second hand inventor I guess is the best way to put it.

 

Doubt it, my guess is that he stumbles apon something and the evil human agency wants him for it, so here comes The Rally Car to save his ass.

This seems to be happening again. We are getting too many Autobots that will probably get very little characterization. I am also seeing very few Decepticons. This has me slightly concerned.

 

just my 2 cents. Im probably wrong but I think something like this MAY happen.

OP and the remaining Bots from DOTM are hunted between DOTM and now. Some may have died, and others captured. But a few managed to get away and hide (Bee and OP).

At this point, I think maybe TJ Miller's Mechanic character may somehow come across (buy of find) the old OP looking truck and tries to fix it up. But maybe Mark's character, now knowing he's some kind of do it yourself, trying to make a living but failing inventor, talks his mechanic buddy into letting him take the truck to try and improve it some how. You know maybe a new fuel system never done before, IDK. But while trying to make a new invention with this tuck he stumbles onto that its somehow alive and THINKS he's done it somehow lol. That is where the government comes in and raids his ranch and the barn that the old truck was rumored (a while back) to be hidden in.

This doesn't prove anything except that he doesn't want to divulge information.

"All hell breaks loose" is certainly Dinobot-sounding, but there are dozens of other TF characters that could provide that kind of situation.

And, quite frankly, enough humans running around they could be the ones causing the loosening of the hell breaks, depending on what the writers do.
