Think your wrong on that one because on the East coast my store always honors the sale! Got a bunch of Thundercrakers on BOGO for my friends and same with Optimus when he was released. I think your your store is screwing you over..

 

My local store is indeed limiting to only 1 Soundwave and 1 Acid Storm per person and they're pretty adamant about it.

 

Why on earth do you need more than one? The only acceptable answer is "to display in both modes".

 

Or "to customize one" or "to use for client commissions"  

 

or to be a scalper!!!

Yeah, but doens't help when "customers" bring a friend and take the only 2 in the store, and those 2 myseriously wind up on ebay with a BIN of 265

 

Atleast some of you guys have been able and will be able to pick MP Soundwave up when he comes out. I probably wont get the chance and will have to resort to ebay and the crazy jacked up prices he will be going at. I went to my local TRU yesterday. This guy that I am pretty cool with and works there knew I was waiting for him to come out. I went in yesterday and he said, I have good news but I have terrible news about MP soundwave. I'm like ok, the good news........HE IS OUT IN MICHIGAN !!!! Ok....whats the terrible news.............MY STORE PROBABLY WONT EVEN GET THE FIGURE !!! He brought up a list of stores that's supposed to get it and only 3 in MI are garuanteed to get him, everyone else, you have to wait and see what comes on the trucks. He ordered his from one of the other TRU in MI and got there last one. So to everyone that can get there hands on him at $100, $110, $120, $130 or whatever.....CONGRATS !!!! I will be paying the stupid, high, overly price scalping prices that are popping up now !!!

 

If the goal isn't to sell it, why not just purchase it, play with it, and then box it back up for display?

 

I work at TRU and have been checking info on MP SW on the computers. If I do a price check, it has been showing as eligible for the BOGO promo.

 

On a happier note, I did pre-order my Titan Metroplex early this morning on TRU website lol

 

Of the two stores I called, they both got a case and sold them instantly.

I'd imagine this was a special shipment and more should be arriving at somepoint....hopefully.
