G2 Dreadwing came out about two decades ago, G1 Dreadwing came out three decades ago.

    This is worse than both.

It's too small and simple looking.

Not a fan. Too small and I'm not feeling it as either Megs or this guy. Well I guess they can't all be home-runs

    Three things here...

G1 Dreadwing isn't even supposed to be this character, may as well throw the Prime, minicon and Energon Dreadwing in there too, seeing as they share the name.

Why is it simple looking? If you ask me the design is anything but simple, not even going into why something being simple isn't a proper complaint.

And finally, how do you know it's too small? I can understand wanting it to be a Voyager but there aren't any size comparisons here.

And to all these people saying " this isn't good as Megatron"... Why? See, here I thought that, seeing as Megs sported this look in IDW for 3 years, it was a pretty good Megatron. I just don't get why people are making these broad statements without explaining them.

Well, I understand why people are upset about size.

The original Dreadwing mold is pretty beefy and still holds up really well to this day - he was among those with actual posability.

But on the other hand... We're getting a NEW G2 DREADWING. That has to count for something.

Yeah, the old one still holds up fine.

If people don't like this one, they can stick the awesome G2 toy in with their classics. He fits in just fine.

What? somoene who is generally displeased can't speak up about how they feel how bad something is, especially given how the original toy(s) were much better looking? Lets face it this "new"dread wing is bunk. G1/2 toys aside this thing is too damn small given what the vehicle is supposed to be. so shut up and let people have their opinions

Looks alright. Not amazing though. I'll probably wait for these to hit the shops rather then import.

This is easily my most anticipated mold from the wave with Pax, Bee and Trailmeister. Looks compact and slim in alt mode and delightfully kibble-free in bot mode. I'll gladly pick up both Megs and Dreadwing. As for the G2 mold, I have the Gigant Bomb version and he is indeed lovely. He can co-exist quite peacefully and happily with the new one.

I think I might pick this up after Megatron. Then I'll buy one more of both and give the second Dreadwing the Megatron head so he can be Megaplex. :p

haha. Oh man, just watched that on Youtube again for probably the first time since it was released. I mean transformers could use more rap these days right?
