From her introduction in 1986, Arcee has been an Autobot warrior first and a female Autobot second, and no where is this more clear than Transformers Prime Arcee, an extremely competent warrior capable of combining acrobatic skill with precision strikes - as illustrated by the relative ease with which she dispatches Vehicons and Insecticons (see yesterday's episode, Plus One, for an example of Arcee's skill in action).

The Transformers Prime Arcee mainline toy - the second toy of Prime Arcee to be released in Deluxe scale, following the First Edition toy - is an excellent realisation of the character. Like the First Edition she sports a great resemblance to the on screen character and top-notch articulation, more necessary than ever when you are dealing with a character like Arcee who does lots of acrobatic moves. The toys likeness - especially in the face and with the 5mm capable hands - in some ways even eclipse the First Edition Arcee.

Overall this is a great Arcee toy to have in your collection, whether you missed out on the First Edition or not. This Arcee also has a remold planned for the upcoming Wave 4 of Beast Hunters, complete with longbow and more silver details, for those who missed out on this one while it was in stores.

Looks like it combined the best of the FE and RID versions. I will get this.

Erm, this is the RiD version. The Beast Hunters one has more silver and a longbow.

I thought I'd hate Arcee, but she is just a really fun toy. I love this figure.

    Nice pics.

I think the RID is defiantly better than the FE. As in, it actually looks like Arcee. No monkey arms or derpy smile.

Yeah, this is definitely the more show accurate version, and the gallery just works it :)

I do like FE mould as a Transformer, but yeah this version is definitely a much better representation of the cartoon character IMO. Plus this one's solid in both modes :)

Exactly. Its a great transformer, and I tend to think of it as a prototype of sorts for the Prime Arcee. Her & Starscream were the 1st ones I got too, so there's always that. :)
