I already have my popcorn ready Remember though, this is the BAY universe we're talking about here. Just because his name is hound doesn't mean a thing. He'll most likely have zero connection to his G1 counterpart. It's up to the butthurt G1ners to accept this though.

Seriously, how do we know this is truly Hound? Remember how many times Bay has lied.... Seriously, don't believe it till you either see the movie or you see "Hound" on the toy shelves.
We're used to it, doesn't mean we have to love it (also if you recolour all of Cybertron's Red Alert's blue into red it would be pretty close to a beefed up G1 Red. I might just do that with my figure!)

It's right by default because the Movies aren't G1, with these characters having nothing to do with prior ones. I think it's safe to consider the strong possibility of a k9-ish face. In before "He looks just like G1 Hound: he's green"
Don't see how this wouldn't elicit a "Hound?!? F**K YES!!!" from everyone. By my count, that's 5 Autobot alt-modes but only 2 are GM-based vehicles. Getting better and better...
It's about damn time he showed up in the movies...assuming, of course, that he's STILL called Hound by the time Hasbro starts getting the shelves stocked.
I never cared for, nor hated Hound so I'm indifferent to this news. But I am glad for all of his fans. Edit: Oh, I know why Bay picked him. It's because of that questionable scene in More Than Meets the Eye part two, isn't it?
