The Shockwave redeco is a little odd. They just put a little bit of pink on his gun as far as I can tell.

Was his chest a different color on the first release? (EDIT) It was, it was gray. I guess along with that Smokescrean they're both just slighly more G1 then then their previous toy decoes.

I haven't bought a single Prime figure, but Cryofire and Darksteel just look sexy

I am honestly surprised at how much the "Sky Lynx" redeco of Skystalker appeals to me.

I donno why, but the mix of colors rally makes that mold pop.

Sky-Lynx is confusing. He doesn't even have any Remolds. And Quickstrike is a ursogryph now?

It's cool that Bombshock is getting a toy. I wish it was in the show deco, though.

I don't think "Darksteel" is meant to be a Quickstike homage, like the DOTM redeco. I think they probably just thought Darksteel sounded like a good name for this guy.

The Sky Lynx homage on the other hand is kind of strange. But I still like it oddly enough.

Ditto this. I was never into collecting the Prime figures, and the Beast Hunters really didn't inspire me at all. I saw Shockwave voyagers at my local TRU, but I just had no interest in buying it. I love Shockwave, and collect all sorts of Shocky stuff (Mighty Muggs, Kreo, etc...) but this was a pass. The "Dark Energon" series was a flop, I believe majority of those are all on clearance at BBTS now.

The "Predacons Rising" seem like a cool concept, but its just more of the same.

I should also remind all our crazy collectors who think these pictures represent the final product. Look at Cryofire, nice shiny blue... Yeah, well, once again, I reference this edition of Shortpacked to nicely remind you, things are NEVER what they appear.

 

Dark Steel, Sky Linx and Cryo Predaking look great but the others are so passed it hurts.

 

My TF dragon shelf is getting too full. Some are already perched on one another. I suppose a couple of KOs and others may have to find a new home...or I should start a second dragon shelf. But most of these exclusives will be bought on sight.

Also, he was a recolored card in the Transformers 3D card game right? A Pink 2007 movie Megatron model. Plus he appeared in SG and Animated Almanac II.
