It should make all these figures pretty plentiful..
Cryotek? Well, there goes Botcon's obvious big character option for the 2015 Beast Hunters set Sky Lynx is a cool homage, but to me the modes aren't close enough to make it work. Don't have problem with Sky Lynx re-imagined as a Predacon beast. Cyberverse Optimus as Thunderclash is nice! edit: MOST of these are really good...nice homages, too. Wow!
Yes, it is. This deco is brighter, using pinkish coloring for details. The purple looks deeper, too. Edit: Ack! Ninja'd.
Yeah; the Shockwave is the G1 deco applied to the Cyberverse toy. We'd BETTER get these up in Canada, just saying.
I really feel the Grimwing mould would've made for a waaaay better Sky Lynx homage. I mean, the beast mode has a bird head, mammal-ish feet (bears and lynxes are similar right? :P) and the big slatted wings. Plus the robot mode has proportions better suited to the dashing and noble Sky Lynx!
Yes! YES! I literally started YELLING with joy as soon as I saw Sky Lynx! That was SOOO unexpected! This is awesome! I feel like the dragon mode is really close (or close enough) to the original Sky Lynx, just updated. Really, REALLY hyped up for this. Primus help me! Cindersaur is awesome, too. Also left field. And is Dark Steel a completely new character?
I'm liking a few of these. And the Abominus will be a must buy for me, assuming I have nto yet bought the 5 single packs by the time it hits.
Eh...I was planning to get Abominus. Might get the Legends 2-packs, mainly for Smokescreen and Predacon re-decos, and the Shockwave/Hardshell pack...but other than that, not interested. Would have gone for a re-deco of Ripclaw, but doesn't appear to be in the cards.
Ah, Darksteel is quite lovely. I sort of dig the crazy bright colors on the original version of the mold more however.
Thunderclash Prime is freaking awesome, I just wish it were the Voyager. A lot of really decent looking redecos. I haven't really been interested in the Beast Hunters line but a lot of these will warrant a purchase for me. Dark Steel looks great in those colors; I had been holding out for a Grotusque homage, but I may have to bite on this. Cryotek is also a must-buy, and I'll be getting the 2-packs for G1 color Shockwave and Cindersaur. I might even get that Sky Lynx, if only to pose MMC Feral Rex stepping on him.
I'm liking the blue & grey deco on Darksteel, like the mold but not Grimwings color. Cryofire Predaking is nice, I'm a sucker for a blue dragon, just wish it was the Ultimate class Predaking repainted in those colors. FYI I haven't bought any TFP or TFP BH figs even if some of the figures are nice, but the 2 mention above are hard to resist.
Sky Lynx... I didn't know they still had the rights to the name... The fact that they renewed it, huh. Maybe they have plans for another similar to Metroplex...
I find these redecos to be surprisingly nice. I was hoping Grimwing would get a better deco. I'm liking these colors a lot more. The Skystalker redeco (Sky Lynx?) also really looks good to me. I dig the Thunder Clash homage on the Comander Prime. The Predaking looks like he's a homage to something, but I can't quite tell what.
