The something big revealed sounds like a Masterpiece Bruticus!!!

With the Prowl/Bluestreak delay, everyone is jumping on the Masterpiece bandwagon and Takara Tomy are just starting to realize the potential(money making) of this line.

The harassing of the car makers doesn't sound too good. It sounds like they've already been rejected for a few. With the rumors that they've acquired Mirage and Hound, feels like they set out to get all the license's for the autobot cars.

 

If they're really going for all the licenses for the cars, then a MP Menasor could be possible. If that were the case, FP Menasor would be instantly redundant  

 

big reveal will be ultra magnus to go with the mp car bots we have and on the way   ( i hope ) looks like they are listening to the fans about smokescreen can't wait to see wht they do with him

The MP line is the best ever. Don't give a damn about any other line anymore. I will cry manly tears of joy if I can complete my S1 Autobots in MP form.

Umm, we already saw the pics a few days ago -he has more white, and grey antennae on the helmet rather than red.

 

Are you sure? I think those magazine scans were a black & white photo with photoshopped red guns.

I'm thinking TT needs to release some more Decepticons...of course, I'm not too sure who they would release other than a new-and-improved Megatron, Shockwave, or the Conehead seekers...while it would be awesome if done right, I don't think they're ready to tackle Blitzwing or Astrotrain.

If they continue with Autobots, though...I would imagine Wheeljack, Hound, Jetfire, or Ultra Magnus would be next.

Of course, if you want to go completely wishful, having the rest of the dinobots would be amazing. I mean, Grimlock was very, very similar to his G1 toy, so I don't see why it would be that difficult to do it to the rest of them; it isn't like they wouldn't sell like crazy.

 

Oh that would be oh so glorious. First time I'd have an MP on first-day preorder.

Why would they make Smokescreen significantly different? To be accurate, it pretty much needs to be exactly like the other 2.

 

That's good news about Smokescreen; here's to hoping they get all the little details for his character right to distinguish him from his bros. And the slight delay caused by retailer demand being more than expected can only be a good thing. As long as there is so much demand for the figures, the reinvigorated MP line will continue to go on strong with sales and new character offerings. Very exciting time to be a TF fan!

As for MP-20, I can only hope it's a Megatron v2. He's the missing linchpin on the Decepticon side of the house; Skywarp, Shockwave, and the Coneheads are really secondary concerns for me since we have 3P offerings available.

Ultra Magnus, as cool as he'd be, can wait along with any Season 3 characters. Belt out the Seasons 1-2 characters as soon as possible (Jazz and Wheeljack would be beyond awesome, as would Hound and Mirage) and save/space-out the big guys like UM and Galvatron for the "large" releases. Combiners are just wishful thinking at the moment but TakTom may just surprise us, so who knows?
