    Plastic tires. Hmmm.

I'm really looking forward to seeing if he has as much diecast as Alternity Convoy. That's part of the reason I'm holding back at the moment.

Looks really nice. The original Alternity Prime is a good mold, but I feel this one is way way way way cooler!

About the tires: I actually don't give a damn whether they're rubber or plastic, but looking at this close-up:

I see a very harsh reflection on the inside of the tire, suggesting it's a hard plastic.

I'm really liking Saber. If only his price wasn't too high.

Are the legs of those little figures removed to have them seated in alt mode?

Figures are out of scale with the cars so in order to fit, I think only the upper chest portion with the head can remain.

Any comment on these blogs about how much die-cast is there? Alternity Convoy was VERY generous in that regard, but since they replaced almost all of the outer car shell I get the feeling they may have toned it down or even eliminated it.

I'm sure this is just the collector playing around with a way to fit the GT-Sisters in the car, and not actually in the directions or anything. Since they're 1/18th (?) scale and the GT Cars are 1/32nd scale.

The cars are hawt, no doubt about it. The bot modes are a bit overly cluttered due to all the sponsor logos and additional molded kibble though, but still not bad. As for the tires, I'm hoping they're rubber but them lacking any treads is consistent with race track cars.

A shame they're out of scale with the Racing Queens (if the GT bot cars were 1/24 scale instead of 1/32 they would probably look better), who seem just decent now that we have a closer look at them. The girls have some odd proportion issues, such as overly thick necks (the red one suffers from this in particular, the blue one at least has a collar to hide this somewhat) which makes them look a tad more masculine than intended, I think, that and combined with the thick/marshmallowy sculpting of the limbs (iGear's MT Delicate Warrior suffers from this too). The pictures of the girls inside the cars are hilarious, haha.

That said, as neat as these two are, I'm going to pass (I already have a normal Red Convoy and I don't care much for Star Saber) and wait for Megatron and Fort Max since I like their molds/color decos and Racing Queens much better.

You have to remove the legs to fit the girls in the car???? Why did they even bother to make them if they are a different scale?

These dolls are just unneeded extra costs.

They were never intended to fit in the car.

Still look rubber to me. Just the difference between street tires and racing slicks.

As for teh cars, these look really neat but are way out of my price range for a "neat to have".
