Eh, as much as I desire Saber atm, I have no issues and can be patient for them to pop up on Mandarake Japan's web shop for a cut price.

 

Star Sabre's head sculpt is really tempting me to get one.

 

Yup screw paying BBTS $115 before shipping for these. The exchange rate is much better now. I also have Megatron and Maximus on pre-order for $80 before shipping at HLJ.

From the pic,i am also feeling that is it more rubber than plastic tires.

Got mine for $76 shipped from HLJ. I did have a 10% discount due to a faulty figure a while back so that probably explains most of the difference.

HLJ rocks. I've put in GTR Saber in the 'Private Warehouse' order and locked it in for at least 60 days. Then, when I decide to ship it, the order will be processed and sent out! So awesome.

I hope I'm wrong, but I keep looking at the pictures and thinking that red body looks like plastic instead of the paint the line is known for.

ATTENTION: This is rumor control.

I got my GT-R Prime and GT-R Saber delivered today, and have just opened them up.
The tires are rubber. The exterior body is painted. Significant parts of the figure are die-cast, just as they were on the previous iterations of this mold. These cars have significant weight to them, and the various sponsor logos are all impeccably tampographed on mine. I have no QC issues to report at present.

That is all.

 

Ok, I think I might finally get this mould, Saber come to me.

I pray that HLJ will process my order as that's the cheapest place left :/
