Yep, we've been discussing this in the Prime Forum, in the new episode thread.

I like that they've added Predaking---Flame On!!...also....Shocky and of course updating Optimus' new look.  

 

I'm surprised we didn't see it till now. Seems like they should have used it for the opening 4 eps.

 

If they had, they would have spoilered Optimus' new look big time...and Shocky's arrival.... so they had to wait a bit.

I like the new intro, but where the hell is Smokescreen?  

 

He's too fast to be captured on film.  

 

That's what I was wondering. Maybe he's dead  

 

I get the waiting for this opening, but why put the effort into it when the series is in its last season. Makes me think the next series will be a sequel.

 

And even then we're still missing Magnus and Jacky..  

 

That's pretty much the same damn thing.

 

So Shockwave joins the main cast in season three and gets added to the intro, while Soundwave has been there since day one and is still not in.

We're also missing Wheeljack, Smokescreen, Fowler, Magnus, and maybe the fact that the Autobot base was destroyed in Darkest Hour? Of course, they probably nearly blew the budget changing the intro at all. That's why they reused the bit with the kids.

 

They're dead too. BTW love your sig.

 

I'm a little disappointed because the rest of team prime (WJ, Smokes, KO, UM) isn't in the picture

 

Soundwave just isn't important. That's why he never does anything.

Anyway, the visuals are lazies alterations to the old one, I actually like the old music more and now Megatron doesn't even get to do anything but fire off a shot... Wait, I hate this Megatron. HA HA Mega-Mad! You're not important.
