I'm currently working on that myself. Having Ultimate Predaking with all of his troops will make an awesome display.

 

Wish they would have gone with translucent blue instead of that green again on optimus. This is going to be one of those figures I'll have to see in person to decide about getting, even with me being a sucker for buying Primes.

The way Predaking is packaged reminds me of G1 Deathsaurus in package.

Both were recolored blue in takara release, one is black one is green in the show.

 

For $60, Predaking better be freaking huge!

Both. I know the toy has blue plastic in takara and green in...everywhere else, but in show, the windows are black and the star saber hasn't been wielded by BH prime yet, but it's most likely the same color it always has been. Even in the promotional image for Prime's arrival into the show, we see his chest windows are black--with a reddish tinge because of reflection..

Seeing the preview image for next episode, it looks blue and that's probably because Magnus is right next to him...but it sure isn't green.

That said, I defintely need that Predaking...his janky back legs in beast mode are a turn off, but not a deal breaker since he's so huge and will look awesome with fellow Preds and other PRIME stuff, regardless of mode

Uh, I would like to see more of Predaking. Optimus is a no since they have kept that disco dragon ring on his back.

While Optimus isn't my thing and I can't truthfully say he looks good, Predaking is cool looking, and I'm sure there's someone out there who likes the look of these. (I mean, this thread alone has a few pretty excited folk) Plus, how do you know they're pieces of junk? I'm sure kids'll love them.

I wonder what their US prices will be? And interesting that Optimus costs more than Predaking.

 

$60, Ow, that actually hurts. I was going to pass on the VoyagerPredaking because I wanted a bigger transforming dragon, but it looks like its just a bit too far out of my price range for me to want over the voyager.

 

$70 in Australia is a decent price considering Leader figures were $75 last time. I would definitely consider picking up Predaking if he turns out to be at least nearly as good as the pre-DOTM Leader figures.

 

Can't wait for a review of these guys. I know I'm gonna pass on Optimus, but that Predaking looks awfully tempting.
