Mine doesn't have that problem unless you angle it in an awkward way. He holds the sword quite well.

What angle? Just curious. Thing is I'm disappointed with the voyager(the soft plastic 'spikes' kill it for me, the leg transformation and dragon mode are cool though), so I was hoping the Ultimate would blow it away.

Prime I dug during the Toy Fair(when I saw the pics) because of the sheer size. I watched Kal-el's review and the amount of ratchet joints was impressive. Nonetheless, the lack of silver paint/dark grey make it more underwhelming than it ought to be, that and it looks like an up-scaled voyager to supreme size with a few new weapons.

 

So the black round dragon thingy is not removable?

 

Not without tools, as two pins attach it to the main body.

 

I mean like in unnatural ways, like further back then a human wrist can go, mine hasn't had any problems with holding in place and I've played with it quite a bit, maybe its a QC problem.

 

No wings, no minigun, no buy. I'm so close to being done with Transformers figure because I'm so sick of this crap. What happened to making real toys not oversize Happy Meal bricks? This abomination is oversimplified to the point of not even being show accurate.

Funny, because the articulation is the one thing that has not changed.

Also, this toy is obviously for younger kids. It's gimmicky, not trying to be super accurate.

 

Is there a video review for the Predaking yet?

 

I know this giant Prime is clearly targeted at young kids (like the big animated Optimus was). With that in mind, I would like to see Hasbro release BH voyager Prime again but with a faceplate, different weapons (chain gun instead of 2 missile launchers?), and blue windows, eyes, and sword (blue like Takara's).

Y'know, one of those repaints/retools that are only different to an extent, like what we saw frequently in the movie lines. Maybe offer it as a store exclusive, a figure in a multipack, or running change?

I just feel we need more options.

 

Quite right, if not for the lousy spring gimmick, we would have a more articulate neck for predaking where it can be adjusted to a variety of angles. Im stuck with having to use a paperclip to keep its head leaning forward.

 

Considering they just showed a new voyager BH Prime at Botcon, and it looks like crap, I can honestly say your dream will never happen.
