I hope RiD picks up the pace a bit. The last arc was almost painful to get through.

??? The return of Megatron, Prowl forced to become part of Devastator. The return of Ironhide, the Aerialbots & Dinobots? Thats was all pretty awesome IMHO.

Indeed (though the return of Megatron was sorta anti-climactic for me). I think the arc could have well been 12 issues instead of 16 and not as "talky talky". Also, the art was sort of off-putting to me at times.

And perhaps the wonderful MTMTE makes RiD pale in comparison. I know it's unfair to do so, but I feel the IDW "magic" = "Furman's Ations" -> LSotW -> MTMTE. RiD to me seems more sedate, like the ongoing was.

A lot of RiD's appeal for me is in the character interactions. It's about the whole "okay, the war is over - what now?" angle and characters trying to find their way in a whole situation that has, for want of a better word, transformed. It's a slow burner, granted, but the amount of character development in each issue puts it above the ongoing, IMO.
