Guess that's just the proof they have no idea what to do, so they'll fill the next 9 episodes with this bone hunting bullcrap until they reach the finale. I'm suprised so many people have gone through it and still like the show.

 

I'm actually beginning to fear season 3 will play our exactly like season 2:
Both Bots and Cons racing to get the relics, until they both have a fair amount - and then the Autobots lose them all to the Decepticons, just like the Omega Keys.

All that remains is another character betraying his side, a la Dreadwing, and maybe an eventual Autobot/Decepticon team-up against a common enemy, just like what they did with Unicron at the end of season 1.

Prime's robot mode is way better than the toy, but the vehicle mode looks like a spiky Tonka truck.

Anyone think they might recognize who the fossil looks like? 'Cause I can't.

 

So...Why would Predacon's have bones?

Subjective tastes.
As much of a crutch the whole relic hunt thing has become, there's still been some decently entertaining moments to the show that makes it fun to watch. That doesn't defend the quality of the show by any means. I'm not happy with the show either. I have plenty of my own criticisms. But at the same time there are enough parts that I find entertaining to want to keep watching.

 

Dude, i can't wait for this.

 

Maybe it's just a lucky shot. It was quick but it looks like Bee comes flying out of a ground bridge at Shockwave.

I think we all know that this character basically is movie Bee. Really, it's a little surprising how much screen time and hero moments he hasn't gotten in the show.

 

The Fourth "T" Relic Hunts, nuff said. Good character moments while all happening simultaneously.

 

Triage was one of the best episodes in the series, despite being a relic hunt (and featuring super genius 12 year old Raf...). However, the rest have been long, boring and repetitive. Give us something original!

 

Yeah, that doesn't make a lot of sense. I mean, I guess it can work if the bonestructure was all metallic, but that's totally not what this looks like (as far as I can tell from this clip).

I was going to say it doesn't make sense for a transforming creature to have a skull and bones at all, but that's not entirely true, of course. A modern Transformer might have a skeletal base that is more machinery-looking, but that doesn't mean Cybertronians from the past couldn't have had a structure that looks more like bones.


In any case, just like treating CNA (Cybertronian DNA, which could easily be explained as data bits/blueprints) as DNA, it's another step in stripping away what makes them transforming robots from Cybertron unique and different from us. And I don't like it.

She's in the background when Smokescreen and Bee are inspecting the Predacon skull, still seems blue to me.

 

I say just admit they're techno-organic at this point. Say what you will BM was honest.

 

YES! Can't wait for the new episode! This is going to be epic! I hope we see more   between Optimus and Megatron.

 

It's honestly my biggest qualm with the show. More so then any relic hunt.

 

To me "bone" just means "old piece of a Predacon," not an actual bone.

 

Bone is a bit far-fetched.

Maybe it's the old shell. Transformers (well, in other continuities) turn monochrome; in this show, all scratched up. Besides, metals don't exactly decompose.
