Apparently they transform without being taken apart, which is REALLY cool.

Dang, I hope the weapons use 5mm ports, some of the swords and guns actually look really nice. I'd much rather pick up one of these for $10 and get a bunch of useful pieces rather than paying for 3P or shapeways weapons. They seem to have a ridge to keep them from freely rotating in the hands, but if the handles are roughly 5mm a little sanding should take care of that.

The only one of these I'm getting is Smokescreen. The rest are easy passes.

I can't wait to see where this line goes. They look like some pretty solid sets, especially Shockwave. And those head sculpts look fantastic :p

Think they look great, and the kids now have no clue who G1 Deadend is, the repainted prime is all they know.

And when they see this they will ask for it, thus making money for Hasbro.

Also, these people saying they will be outy5000 for good will be the first to pick these guys up.

Why do people completely forget what we saw a few weeks ago and the line's decription, this is not the mainline of Transformers, I swear the short memory spans.

Powercore Combiners didn't fail it went through it's designed run with multiple 2packs and 5packs, only 2 figure packs and 1 combiner group went unreleased at mass retail and made it's way to discount chains and the UK.

There were tons of them announced in the previous announcements http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers...new-line-of-customizable-transformers-176715/

Wow, I wasn't expecting Prime Dead End to get homaged. I wonder how good his chances at a Cyberverse or a Kreon are now...

It looks like they re-did the head some from the Wheeljack for the Silverbolt.

Put me in the column that's buying them. I like the uniqueness of them. That said, I'd love to see some more armor parts added to bulk them up a bit or cover some of the gaps. I like the idea posted before about packs of extra parts being sold to further customize them.

In fact, I just had an awesome idea strike me. Why not add Mini-cons to them. Hasbro could use the Prime ones from Japan, (since they kinda work as you have to assemble them too.) or new ones could be designed to work specifically with the series. Mini-cons could transform into armor or weapons/tools to further enhance the figure's playability, attract the Mini-con collectors to the line and offer a story plot for the characters. (the old Armada got to enslave/save them story.)

Great for kids but as an adult collector, this is an easy pass.

It would be a nice idea Hiro but kids in America don't have the attention span to put together a model and sticker it.

In that case I think I'll add Shockwave to TFs I want. The others I will have to see in person before I decide.

They remind me of Bionicle figures. Have to see them in person first before I pass judgment...

But they'd have the attention span to build the Construct-bot they bought, right? So an added Mini-con wouldn't be that much more work for the average kid.

Any of you guys remember the Zoids Buster Eagle? Looks just like these. Between the Arms Microns & these you can really see the Tomy (Zoids) side of TakaraTomy.

Just makes me believe even more that Hasbro has Official Stunticons coming down the pipe as well as other combiners.

Just wait until Botcon... you'll see. YOU'LL ALL SEE!!!
