many ended up loving kre-o despite hating it at first, maybe that will be the case with this contructibots, but i actually like the look of some of them
and they still will be awesome for customize other figures or even themselves, and i thinks that is the point of this sub-line so i think hasbro scored, but hero factory/bionicle compatibility would seal the deal, now just a matter of waiting to see

I don't like them because Hasbro made them for kids and not for me. I don't care if I'm an almost insignificant part of their market. They should be creating toys that I, an adult man, would like. And if kids dig them too I guess that's ok. But really, it's all about me.

With Deadend, Dragstrip and Breakdown appear in this line. I wonder if we'll get Wildrider and Motor Master.

I love these things. I would of killed for customizing transformers like this when I was a kid so I am buying every single one for my son. He's only 2 but I'll keep them for future birthdays and christmas' when he gets 6 or older.. And there are a few I'll buy just to customize for myself. Hey if he doesnt like them when he get older then I'll keep em and customize them LOL so its a win win for me.

Just think about what a 3rd party could do with these things.. All they'd have to do is make clip on parts.

Predaking makes a breif appearance in the advert (link). Whether that's an actual toy model or not, it at least shows they're thinking about it.

His transformation looks to be a slight variation on the rest of the line. Not too different though, and about what you'd expect. It's still just hide the robot head, hinge up the dragon head/back pack, rearrange the hands and feet with claw kibble, and spread the wings. (Not all that different from the main toyline, really.)
