Didnt see the new pics. Definitely can't wait to get this guy now. I'll put him next to Encore Fort Max so they can fist bump.

 

I dig it a lot, but those legs man, they're just so damn lanky... I can't help but think that Hasbro had this plan to make it more like, 20" tall originally, then decided 'hay, let's make this the biggest transformer ever by ignoring all sensible proportions and making the legs obscenely long!'

 

Looks dope. I think I'm in, budget permitting. I'll stand him up next to Matty Voltron, my other son.

I really want to see some action poses (if he can and not fall over.) Straight up and down is boring. Also, swivel heads...

But Metroplex has always been off-white. I think that makes it feel more like Metroplex to me. He can't be snow-white like Jetfire or Ratchet.... he's a city, his surfaces have all been coated with a grimey layer of Autobot exhaust fumes!

I'm thinking some panel lining and maybe a smoke wash would go a LONG way with this guy.

 

Robot mode (which it will remian in probably 99% of the time) looks sooooo amazing,
it's just really sad though that in this day and age of amazing TF engineering they couldn't hide the head better than that (it's worse than the G1 version!) or do SOMETHING with the hands (even make them removable if you have too...)

can't wait to get it though
