I had such high hopes for a new Trailbreaker, but it looks like this fall's pretty short of my own expectations.

The wheels on the legs look very lazy, and I still really dislike that bulky partformer shield. On top of that a hand cannon should have been a must. Oh well, I guess I can wait another 5-6 years before they do anything with him again.

Just wish he were a voyager, even a smaller voyager like the DotM ones.

Thanks for the pics cobra zartan!

I hate, hate, hate that shoulder design. It sucked on the lambo mold, it sucked on RTS Perceptor and it will probably suck here.

So the guns on the camper shell don't fold back? That would mean the vehicle mode is always in "attack" mode which is extremely rare for any TF vehicle other than tanks. Not overly fond of the whole camper shell being the robot's weapon either, too bulky and part of that could fill out the robot more. Main bot body looks fine though

Have their been any size comparisons for this year's new deluxe molds? I'm interested to see if they are maybe just a tiny bit bigger than the WfC figures, since the MSRP has increased.

He might not be perfect, but I will still get it. Trailbreaker was way overdue for a classics update (larger than a Legends). Also plan on getting the Hoist repaint too when it hits so I can put him next to my RTS Grapple.

Looks fine to me his legs probably fold up into those hollow spaces, then if there were panels that folded over to fill in the gap people would have complained about that.

I see shoulders, there where his arms connect to the shoulder.

I'm still not sure what's wrong with the wheels they seem to roll fine and look like wheels on all my Transformers not sure what else they are supposed to do?

I'm not understanding why he would need to be a Voyager, he's only slightly larger than a car would be a Voyager would make it a huge truck.

I'm definitely gonna be picking Trailbreaker up. Could care less about Pax and Bee to be honest.

Not bad but doesn't really scream G1 Trailbreaker to me, especially the proportions. Hollow legs are a bit of a downer, as are the seemingly floating shoulders (seems to be a trend with the latest round of figures). The kitbasher in me may try to make this guy a bit taller and more geewun somehow.

On the subject of several people's complaints:

    - The shoulders are mistransformed. The official stock photos we've seen show them positioned higher up.

    - The large kibble-weapon is a compromise necessary for the Hoist retool. If the truck-bed canopy was integrated into robot mode, Hoist wouldn't be able to have an open bed with a winch.

I still dig it even with the overly apparent gaping space in his legs. I'm really more concerned on the quality of the plastic.

    Your dream is my dream.

Hey Cobra Zartan, can the shield clip onto the back? It might be this guys only saving grace.

Of course the test shot is in Diaclone colors with offcolor parts that can be swapped out. I can only imagine how much these things go for. I hate life.

I'm just not feeling this round of deluxes. Both Breaker and Bee look like they have such boring transformations. I know every toy can't be RotF Mixmaster or else the main audience will rage quit. But if every toy is Energon Hotshot then the long time vets will snooze quit.
