Your "size compare" was INCREDIBLY off. I doubt it could be more "off" if you tried. Every last figure in the prime line is taller than classics Bumblebee. None of them are even close to his height.

Same goes for your assessment of the "chug" line. Jazz was unusually tall for the classics line. He's taller than almost every deluxe, other than the Prowl, Sunstreaker, Cyclonus, and Kup molds. Other than those four molds, he's taller than every single other deluxe in the entire history of what we know as classics. He is nowhere near the norm for the line, and should not be treated as the standard for anything.

Trailcutter is going to be average deluxe height for the line, or even a bit taller. There is nothing wrong with that.

WELL Lets agree to dissagree, I feel the line has gone astray of its original intention and I no longer feel the quality of figures is worth my time..

You on the other hand may not mind the new path this line is heading for, and hey who am I to tell someone else what to love and how.

But there is no new path. The size has not changed one bit, despite what you keep saying. The only real change is that some of the figures have peg-on wheels now, which yeah, I think sucks, but it's not that big of a deal.

The new figures may be made with less plastic like the other recent figures, but even that's not really anything new, since it started with Tracks and Wheeljack in the RTS/Generations lines.

If you want to let some imaginary decrease in size keep you from buying the figures, that's fine. Buy whatever the hell you want, but please stop complaining about the figures being so much smaller whenever a topic about a new deluxe comes up, since I've proven that they aren't any shorter than what we've been getting since 2006.

Eh, believe whatever you want to believe. I'll be enjoying my MTMTE Trailcutter.

Ok I will try to explain the way i feel and why, I will compare two figures to help make my point.

Look at the CHUG KUP figure, he is as tall as JAZZ, he is a nice looking realistic looking truck and his transformation is really nice.

As it is the KUP figure could be a nice remold into a nicer than we see here Trailbreaker. I would prefer a slight change in transformation to be more hood chested but either way would be the tits!

The way I see the line Going....

This figure is molded after some weird looking jungle armored car thing and Is to small in both forms.

I cannot complain about the transformation, I dont know it.

But I think the line is being "phoned In" more where as before, if we got a Trailbreaker when We got the Hound figure, He probably would have been his own mold that looked really nice and believable and he would have stood taller.

If you get what Im saying?

    No.

He's still his own mold. He's getting remolded into Hoist, but that makes sense, since that's how it was back in G1.

Kup being remolded into Trailbreaker would have been awful. Nothing but the alternate mode is even slightly correct.

It's fine to dislike the alt mode, or the robot mode. I don't have a problem with that. The only problem I ever had with what you were saying was when you were making downright insane claims about the size of this figure and others.

Even the alternate mode is pretty wrong. Sergeant Kup turns into a faux-retro, low-riding pickup truck. Not exactly the beefy, practical, off-roading Hilux that Trailbreaker turned into.

    you missed my point completely,,,,

its the quality of thought and design plus the thought of how a figure fits into the lineup.......

like i said if it was a few years back when we got him he would have his own mold ( as in not KUPs mold) but he would have been made with the same quality and height and accuracy as Kup was made.

    is that Better?

Good Gawds that thing is tiny as hell. That prime bunghole bee is barely a pube hair taller than breacher...I hope they jack the size of trailBREAKER up or he's gonne have to be a pass (with tfs being 15.97 for nto deluxes anymore). I mean it looks cool but that size is too f'in short.

And that's why I HATE it. The original Trailbreaker toy had an awesome robot head/face. I loved the G1 toy line. I loved the Gobots toy line. Both cartoons ruined the toy designs & were aimed towards babies. Even when I was a little kid I thought the cartoons were too babyish & sucked ass. I couldn't even watch the Gobot toon but Transformers was a little more tolerable.

And now as an adult I get to watch everybody demand "toon accurate" garbage & I can never get proper updates of certain characters.

Just going to repost Valkysas's size comparison photo again:

PRID Bumblebee is the same size as the PRID Arcee seen there.

I have the same problem. Trailbreaker's and Track's mouths, dunce caps on half the seekers, and Wheeljack's visor being turned into a mouth plate all drive me nuts. There's a reason some of my Optimus Primes have had their eyes repainted yellow.

There's a few things about this toy I'm not thrilled with, but I'll get him, because he's Trailbreaker. But, I'll likely end up modifying him to actually look like Trailbreaker.

Now though, I'm still getting Trailbreaker as I have zero versions of the character.

He's small but who gives a fuck.

It's Trailbreaker and he looks awesome. I've needed that for the longest time.

Arms are connected to a fake part of the tire that has a pin through it for the shoulders, or did I not understand what you wanted me to do?

he is looking resonably good, i think i may end up modding him so his head shield generator can fold away, i would like to see a pic of that bumblebee mold they use comapered to chug hound or even ironhide in vehicle mode or even robot mode, i dont mind the size that much as alot of people have already said he will be about the right size in bot mode. any more pics would be great :)

You probably missed it earlier, but the shoulders peg onto the side mirrors according to all the official photos.

Yep I missed that, testshot must have the fake wheels on the wrong side!

Actually heres a person in china with the final version and it shows that my testshot should have the fake wheels swapped.
