Exactly. Doesn't really mean anything. Martha Speaks winning means nothing in the same way that if a show you liked was on that list also would mean nothing.

Emmies? They don't matter period. They don't. Some guys in a council chose what they liked in random categories, that's it, they're no true indicator of quality, they're just opinions of people. They will get mentioned in a few press releases and that is the end of it.

Which means that your underhanded "lol didnt win writing my internet opinion has been validated" kind of comment also means nothing. At the end of the day regardless of what Emmy people say they don't decide what one should like and they certainly don't decide what's good.

 

Backgrounds? Yeah, that's a crok. Some of teh backgrounds are interesting, but it's mostly generic alien ship or desert and mountains.

Now storyboarding and character animation? Yeah, I'll give them that for sure. Especially character animation, since that's where, honestly, most of the personalities come from.

 

I think the backrounds are bland, but yeah, the character animation is pretty good.

 

Hey, if it did win an award in writing, I would have called bullshit. I don't let them tell me what to watch either. But I would assume the people who make the choices are professional critics.
