That's pretty darn cool looking. Hopefully it still looks good without all the photoshop enhancements.

 

The only problem I have had with the megatron mold is the that the gun arm is really weak and the gun is really heavy, so every time i pose his arm straight out like he is firing, it just falls from the weight of it. Damn you megatron for being such a badass and holding the biggest weapons.

Yeah his hips suck as well.  

With all the remolding done to this guy you would think they would've at least improved the hip and shoulder joints so he can hold a pose other than "floppy mess" while standing on the shelf.

That being said I preordered him when he first went up on BBTS.

I bet non photoshopped pics are going to surface and it will be grey. Of course then everyone will bitch because its the grey plastic they hate. Mark my words.

 

I don't think I could add it to my collection as Megatron, but darn with the crazy design and kind of Seacon colors I want to add this figure even if I don't call him Megatron. Some times crazy and Transformers doesn't work but when it does it's crazy good.

To be frank, he looks more like some Zerg flying unit (Guardian, were they called?) than any fish I have seen in my life.

Like others have said, this is just so hilarious and weird it ends up being awesome. I really hope the actual production colors are dark like they are here.

Getting a feeling some people are not getting the reference. Which is fine, since people at mass retail are going to be confused as well.

I like that the Jet can bite you and all the bright colors are there. The new gun no longer has a light up function, Hopefully if they go with a mechtech extending blade idea they will engineer the ability to lock it.

What if Prime megatron got thrown into space and fell as a meteorite onto quintessa. Forced to do battle in the sharticon pit. rebuilding himself from the remains of those terrible lifeforms the sharticons. One day he will overwhelm the quintesson masters in a horrific fashion, then return for revenge on the predacons with a sharkticon army in tow.

Even when these concepts never surface in the actual series, the retools leave equal inspiration for fan service and fan fiction.
