This would be enough to change my mind and get me to actually buy the set this year. Is it confirmed the actual figure definitely doesn't have show colors?

Hoist is 4th quarter? Does that mean Trailbreaker is soon? I haven't seen a date.

They think it's Nov/Dec 2012, I imagine, given how the exchange rate has changed.

Probably unlikely, but for $90 I'd expect Magnificus to come with a little something extra.

You know what else undermines the club? How about not having their shit together enough to do the subscription service in even a half-assed way. And not adequately communicating the problems and delays to the club members whose money they're holding. And offering an e-hobby exclusive for what appears to more than what you can import it for directly. Ninety dollars for a deluxe that's not a third party item? Thems some balls, "Fun" Pub! I really hope the first two sub toys are the two I want so I can bail on the whole thing. Way to take a cool idea and make it all sour and crappy.

In this photo it says "Revised concept image. Final version TBD."

All the other figures say "Images shown are mockups and not actual production figures. Final product will vary."

So it seems they're trying to change the colors.

Joe Con was this past weekend. Might take a day or two before you hear from him.

If Obsidian really is in show colors, I'll be ALL over that. Might go for Magnificus, but we'll see where my funds are at.

I'm getting both, even if Hoist really is better than Trailbreaker.

Hmm. Is asking for a PM of a HOIST scan kosher?

I'm doubting it. How long does this crap usually take to hit another news outlet that can be reported on?

And then afterwards the magazine usually caves and puts up official images.

I'm wondering that too, since it hasn't been posted on a certain site yet.

Until some random anon who happens to frequent a certain image board gets the magazine and scans it.

Yeah; what people have said. If a magazine requests their stuff not be posted, it won't be. I think that's what TFW and the other sites tend to follow rulewise.

Regarding the updated Obsidian deco. This is from the portion titled "From The Editor's Desk..." notes (Pete's the editor):

"As we celebrate this milestone issue, check out a Generations sneak peak from our friends at Hasbro. Our UPDATED deco's for the BotCon 2013 Machine Wars box set..."

The capitalization is in the magazine itself.

That's even clearer than the tag mentioned before (which, while still being skeptical, I did say was a good sign).

    This is encouraging.
