I dunno. The hints lead to Reflector being the Botcon 3 pack this year.

 

Wonders if will be a Ga'mede targetmaster that comes with Magnificus?

 

Also the words "Look Closer" are relevant when we talk about Perceptor, since he was also a microscope.

 

And I also understand that after his release on sale. By TFCC to be released for sale and SG Perсeptor. With a little remold on his head.

If you ignore all the obvious clues that it's Magnificus, I suppose Reflector is what one would think.  

Reflector was rumored to be an Asian Exclusive United release. Probably not something eHOBBY is doing.

While that would be awesome, there's a part of me that wants Flywheels from Blitzwing and Battletrap from Springer.

 

Pete said the 3 pack would be something G1 fans would love. The assumption is Reflector since its unlikely Rainmakers or Purple clones.

I don't think it'd be Reflector if TakaraTomy is rumored to be doing it in United (ala Ultra Magnus and Bruticus).

United Ultra Magnus, Bruticus, and the 2 Seeker 3 packs were all released by Hasbro Asia / TakaraTomy Asia for Asian countries outside of Japan.

If the United Reflector and United Hardhead listings are true (based on past listings they most likely are), I'm thinking they will be like those other Asia-Only United releases (not to be confused with Hasbro's GDO stuff).

Therefore eHOBBY and Fun Pub would not be touching Reflector.

I think the "Look closer" statement gives it away since thats what microscopes are for.
Plus, as mentioned, the three red lights and bio clues point to Magnificus.

I thought that TT was releasing Reflector based on this mold. Maybe things since have changed or this is a different exclusive in its own right.

 

not a huge fan of that mold. i'd rather have the actual encore/tru release recolred into magnificus....my first perceptor was the microchange version. don't know what ever happened to it all those years ago.

 

Ehobby already released a black G1 Perceptor several years ago.

I've always wanted a Magnificus so this is very welcome news. Wonder if he will have a faceplate like the old pre-Transformers Microchange figure?

Now I need E-Hobby to make Junkion Detritus from Universe Hound, Roadhauler from Grapple, Diaclone Black Tracks and Omega Sentinel/Toybox Mechabot-1/Omega Spreem from YOTS Omega Supreme!

 

If they go this way -and I wouldn't be shocked if ehobby once again used a Perceptor mold for Magnificus - a Ga'mede Targetmaster could be released, though to me it may or may not be included. On one hand UN-23 Rodimus Prime had a slight remold, to the engine black, adding a mounting point for a Targetmaster partner that was sold seperately

If the Million Seller exclusives like Stepper and Artfire are anything to go by, throwing in a Targetmaster is no problem but if I recall, these were priced in the ballpark of ehobby's last United exclusive, the sets of three Autobots and Decepticons. Neither of those sets included extra Targetmasters beyond that which comes with all Deluxe Cyclonus releases, though these sets were meant to evoke the '86 movie.

 

I personally think everyone has it all wrong with the perceptor bit. I think it's supposed to spell "Bone mi" - whilst the message is obvious the "mi" part is an homage to Austin Powers.

The toy in question? A golden Erector (again, homage to Austin Powers). This is merely the begining of a full blown (pun intended) Austin Powers line with the sub, Austins car and many others.
