I'm sorry, did you forget that Hasbro's a company that caters primarily to children?

Most toy companies do. Of course, when companies start to cut corners and the quality of their products starts to drop even kids take notice. LEGO almost went bankrupt in the late 1990s owing largely to a noticeable drop in quality. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I really feel like Hasbro has been cutting too many corners with some of its more recent figures.

Can't wait for both. Making space Predaking is going to mess with my leader Predacon shelf.

After looking at all the Beast Hunters figures, I only feel compelled to buy Voyager Shockwave and Ultimate Predaking. Depending on the paint deco, probably the Takara. Those wrist guns. So awesome.

Which is fair. Kids just like adults should "vote with dollars" and buy the things they like.

But that isn't what that poster was getting at and pretty much why he was ridiculed top to bottom for that post. It was a case study in a certain meme about the fandom.

Is Ultimate Prime simple looking and cheaper to make? Sure
Is he a crap toy as far as kids are concerned? Not sure just yet, but if he's as fun as Voyager Prime then I'm sure kids'll love him.

Yeah, your right. Three toys for the same bot under the same line in under 5 months is even more excessive considering that they haven't even aired the character yet...

It just sounds like they're milking this line for everything it's worth before canceling the show.

I'll be glad when it's finally over.

Doesn't basically every character get at least 2 figures anyway regardless of whether it's a show character or not?

Now if you make a leader/supreme size class, some are going to inevitably get three.

Call me when we start having multiple versions of Predaking in a single class.

So, is it confirmed that Prime's wheel of 'meh' on his back is non-removable?

Good Primus, this thing's supposed to be larger than Leader Classes, and his hands are that blatently obvious in truck mode? Serously what the slag happened to the quality of the Transformers line the last few years? Cheaper plastic, less parts, less paint apps, figures cost way more. Costs can't have increased that much can they?

I really want to like Predaking, I mean come on, it's a gigantic transforming dragon! But I'm underwhelmed. Perhaps I'll find it more impressive in person, as the stock photos rarely give an accurate view of the toys.

Yeah, they're doing the same thing with MLP. how many dozens of releases of pinkie pies can people take? though MLP is worse because they don't even change the mold. :|
