Both look amazing enough to get me to dive headfirst back into the Masterpiece line. I hope they correct the spelling error on Prowl, but even if they don't there's no way I'm cancelling my preorder.

 

Even nicer cleared up. I would like to see the outside lower leg, both toys seem angled to hide it.

Either way, I'll order these from Kapow nearer the time methinks.

Same here. Beats the $79 price tag everyone else has.

 

I love everything but the gap on the top of the feet. By no means is it a deal breaker, but if they could close that up, these would be perfect.

 

Wait that's where the mirrors are on the Fairlady Z? Now I gotta dig out my G1 Prowl!

EDIT: ok I just did some searching and I see that some of them did have the mirrors all the way up on the front wheel fenders! Seems to have been the European models. I know they didn't look like that here in the states at least. Still gotta wonder why TakTom went that route when the G1 Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen mold did not have that!

 

Loving the alt mode for both. Although I have to say something about BLuestreak's face creeps me out. I'm hoping it's just angle making him look odd. I don't want to have to skip him just because his face comes across as derpy to me. He was always my favorite of the trio after all. Although if face really does look like that I may just be going after smokescreen.

AFAIK the original Japanese run of the car had its side mirrors near the front wheel fenders like that. The eventual US release of the car did not.
I'm guessing Nissan requested an accurate representation of their original car.

When people ordered off Anime Export did it include Shipping? I paid for the items, but shipping wasn't factored in and been wondering if it's an error, or it'll be asked later on?

I though the rims were diffrent at first. Looks like same rims.
