Yep, based on the numerous orders I've had from HLJ, the pair will probably be around 1800-2400 yen to ship EMS. So thats about $22-$28 for shipping that on average takes 2-3 days from Japan...that's faster than domestic UPS from BBTS, and you're still saving quite a good amount of cash. If you wanna go even cheaper, you can have them sent SAL, which will probably be around 1500 yen, which to mean is not worth the few dollars saved.

Plus if they Yen continues is slow trend down between now and August...well even more cash saved  

 

I (almost) buy every takara release, I prefer more toon accuracy (like soundwaves eye color, and hot rods color scheme) and more importantly I'd rather spend more than wait and hunt for it in stores. but I decided not to pick up the takara release of red alert, if hasbro releases it, cool, if not, I may pick it up or I may not. .. But with these three, I have to have them ASAP. Behind hot rod and prime the prowl mold is my favorite. The head crest plus the door wings... I love it. So getting the takara version and not having to cross my fingers for a hasbro release was an easy decision.

While prowl is my favorite, I can't wait to see how incredibly smokescreen is going to look.

And if they continue with making each slightly different (like the heads and cod pieces) they are going to look just that much more awesome together.

Also, if takara is subtly changing parts of each of these characters, how can anyone still believe they'd try to put together a jazz from this mold, it's making less and less sense as each new photo is released, hopefully that argument is dead.

In the proccess of cancelling my pre-order of MP-18 at agesthreeandup and just pre-ordered both MP-17 and MP-18 at HLJ. Hopefully the shipping won't be too bad for the two!

My MP Lambor shipped from HLJ for 1380 yen, via FedEx. Assuming Prowl or Streak is nigh-identical in weight and size, that's $14.75 at current exchange rate for just one. (it was more back then, yen is dropping rapidly lately)

I don't think HLJ was doing a shipping special then, possible though.

 

Preorders from HLJ came up in the last 6 hours [went to bed around 2 AM, woke up at 8:30 AM], and there's a limit of 10 per customer. Probably to ensure that unlike the cassetes, everybody gets one.

Fantastically awesome is what you save on merchandise price alone. Shipping for the two EMS won't be over 3000 yen max.

 

preordered hlj. I think at most shipping will be $30 usd to us. That's 65 a piece shipped! Sorry tfs, had to drop your preorders in favor of this. haven't ordered from hlj in years but if they keep coming with cheap MPs then I'm a renewed customer, especially now with their own version of POL to save on shipping.

I placed my first preorder of the MP Autobot cars after looking at Prowl and Silverstreak. I decided that I just can't pass them up. I may get all the cars like Sideswipe, Red Alert, and Bluestreak, but for now I just want Prowl and Bluestreak.

 

I Hope their back sides look somewhat like the cartoons as well

Prowl Remains MP-17, however Bluestreak, previously MP-19, is now MP-18. Likewise, Smokescreen, previously MP-18, is now MP-19. We know that this will probably have no real effect on anything for most of you, but we wanted to make sure no one was surprised if you had them on separate orders and received them in an order not expected.

Meanwhile, our listings have been updated to reflect the new numbering. If you already have an order in, you'll receive the character you ordered where the two changes are involved - So if you ordered Smokescreen, you'll still get Smokescreen despite the numbering on your order being the older, incorrect numbering, and likewise if you ordered Bluestreak.

also theres no justufying bbts pricing imo, ae pricing is actually a fair price for these toys, very fair if you ask me and they dont come any fairer than i.
