Kinda interesting how Hasbro is making TFP last season very public because until recently, it was well guarded secret.

I guess they had their reasons to make a public announcement.

So $10 to see a 22 minute episode. Doesn't seem like a value to me just to see it a few days early. Or is this a free showing?

 

so I take it now they are keeping Optimus alive or is this just a gimmick to get the ones who wouldn't watch if they killed Optimus off, they need to make up their slagging minds.

I don't hate Optimus' new design but it does look a little odd next to Megatron there in that image. It doesn't feel like the same TFP style I'm used to. Maybe it will look better once we finally see him all animated it won't seem as awkward.

I believe the premere's meant for a theater at LA. The actual premere on the Hub will air on the 22nd.

 

And here was I, hoping that for once Optimus would die and stay that way...No...Season hasn't even started yet, there's still the possibility...

Oh who am I kidding, Hasbro won't let him die. At least never permanently.

How long is this premier going to be? 22-minutes?! Or are they going to show the first four or so episodes, covering a small arc that sets up the beginning of the end?

While I welcome the idea of premiering the show to the public in a movie theater, it seems odd to do so for something less than 90 minutes of actual airtime.

Looks like it came right out of the show to me...

 

it's from a promo pic and it probably is a show model. the cgi model we see on the figure package is merely the cgi model of the toy. the show model is way better.
