A homage doesn't always have to be 100%. I think they were going for subtlety on this.

I'm glad to see both of these confirmed.

I'm still hoping that since there are still a few slots left, Hasbro uses them to fill in a few missing slots, like Classics Sunstorm, or Classics Arcee.

 

I'll get most of these... Sadly "Minitron" and Bumblebee are a pass though.

 

As long as 1 of the seeker mold is produce,the rest of the seeker characters will be repainted,that is the trend all along.

 

How many times have we actually seen that happen though? Armada and DOTM are the only two post-G1 lines I can think of where we got all 3 from Hasbro. Technically Classics too, but the whole seeker thing was a huge clusterf*ck.

 

I've stopped holding my breath for a classics Arcee, but I'd love to be surprised.

 

The last real SURPRISE we had was Voyager Prime Megatron being released on store shelves without any prior pictures popping up online or conventions.

 

I thought the last surprise was proper Generations Triplechangers? At Voyager no less. Blitzwing especially.

 

No... We get surprise announcements all the time. A true surprise is something you find on the shelf without being shown on the Internet ahead of time. It reminded me of the old days in the 80's when you'd find new things on the shelves with no prior knowledge.

Just speculating, but anyone else think that hoist and foc thundercracker will be released in the same wave? What are the chances we get a couple of other deluxe's in there too along with the generations sandstorm that's been teased?
