    agreed

... it also has an actual copter mode.

It doesn't seem right to complain, but I was hoping they'd have the good sense to use that design somewhere down the line. Seems even more unlikely now.

    No doubt about it.

As long he's not so much taller than Optimus he should scale great; besides Spring was bigger than the bigger than Hot Rod and Arcee.

Springer! Finally. i love that news. Now the only question is the execution and whether it will be a solid triple changer and hopefully isn't a half-ass job.

Maybe if we're lucky we'll see these at ToyFair? Anyone do the count to see if Hasbro has hit their 40 FOC figures limit yet? Hasbro had promised 40 FOC figures i nthe Generations line before.

Ok I like that FOC Springer pictured. Hopefully it translates well to a toy.

they're counting the minions as separate toys from their pack-in partners, so 27... and they're counting the ones that came out in 2012 too, so it's actually 37.

anyways, not really excited for springer.... that design looks really boring imo.

Bring on the space Choo Choo! I haven't really purchased anything from the FoC line yet, except for Shockwave. Grimlock is on the list, too. I hope these are awesome enough to give me reason to purchase. Wait...what am I saying? I have enough on pre-order as is. Damn you, 2013 lineup!!

Provided they don't sacrifice that Springer bot mode too much, I think he'll be leading my classics-ish LSOTW team. Just hope these get a proper worldwide release. I'm getting pretty sick of exclusives.

All we need now is a sword that will split apart. If its not apart of the official toy I'm sure some 3rd party will accommodate that.

Not directly aimed at you, and I'm not going to comb through 30 pages to see if it's been said, but the springer artwork is a DIRECT RIP from the FOC artbook's concept section.

I was checking again to see if there was any astrotrain concept work, but alas there is none.

So take that with a grain of salt. The pictures floating around are FOC concept art. There was magnus concept art too in that section and it looks absolutely nothing like the prime repaint we ended up with. Just sayin because that's highmoon's concept, it might not be exactly what the hasbro concept will end up being.

^Well put me in the camp that hopes that RK got it wrong and is mistakenly asssuming that they're FoC toys simply because they're under the Generations banner.

    A guy can hope right?

Yeah i was about to say i believe Hasbro also considers the 2012 stuff as part of that 40. And also they said 40 characters and not molds so there is bound to be lots of mold sharing. So at your current count of 37, they are almost there. I don't see Springer and Astrotrain sharing a mold so hopefully that's at least 2 new molds.
