Springer and Astrotrain? Kickass!  

 

That Sandstorm is a cheap, disappointing imitation!  

A true Sandstorm should be a G1 deco triple-changer with updated buggy/helicopter alternate modes!  

 

I'm really hoping for that Prowl!   Those giant jet engines on the back of his vehicle mode just looks awesome!  

 

Goddamn nose. Of course they'd have to TFP-ify my favorite character, especially since none of the other WFC/FOC stuffs have gotten that treatment except Cliffy and Trypticon.

And any and all WFC/FOC toys are welcome at this point. Especially Springer and Astrotrain.

 

Although the cheap, disappointing imitation is better than the original toy.  

 

what difference does it make? they are still going to be large hollowed out shells of what they really should be.

so of course there will be loads and loads of cheating involved in terms of looks and transformation. and lets not forget about how little the paint apps there will be.

 

Actually, if you look at Wheeljack, he's desgned to be pretty close to his TFP version as well. The wheels and mohawk are a huge tipoff to that.

 

I will wait until theyre in hand to decide if getting or not..

 

Prowl looks like he could be a retool of Wheeljack.

 

FOC does have a cybertronian train/transport

 

I have a feeling springer won't look like the artwork. For example look at ultra magnus art looks nothing like the foc deluxe

 

We grow more efficient each passing day. Now we complain before we even see the figures.

 

That's just because he's a repaint of Optimus.
I only wish they gave us a Magnus like in the picture.
Who are they gonna repaint as Springer? Vortex doesn't count, they announced Springer as a voyager sized toy and I doubt they'll use Soundwave.

 

If it makes you feel any better the design they use in the comic is much more WFC/FOC friendly than the "official" game one.

Well I'm glad we're getting a triplechanging Springer. Robot mdoe is great, ground vehicle looks boss but the aerial mode looks like a banshee from Halo. still 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Astrotrain...well i'd rather have Blitzwing like everyone else but hey a voyager Astrotrain ain't too bad either.

eh.. no not really a train, though it is a transport.

I could see it going either way, though if they were wise they would use the WFC train design (since it's actually a train and stuck on a track)

 

That was also in Sections 4 & 5 of "Iacon Destroyed" in WfC.

 

If it has been said before I am sorry I missed it but I think the reason we are getting these 2 is because they can be repainted/retooled as Sandstorm from Springer and octane from astrotrian.

I also wanted blitzwing way more than astrotrain, will we never get the 6 triple changers at the same size point?
