hold on. i only see one character in that picture and that's Springer

where's the pic of Astrotrain?

 

I doubt the game version was intended to split him in two. If that ends up being the case, I'd only be interested if it were Battletrap, Flywheels or any other similarly gimmicked character.

The game art looks like the front bumper and windshield of the car and flight mode are fairly similar, so I assume he's intended to be one piece.

YES. Why hasn't anyone tackled this yet? You'd think a third party would've come up with something by now...

 

Interesting. Definitely out of left field. I didn't even know these two had FoC designs. I can't seem to find any images of Astrotrain's design, so I'm curious to see what he'll look like. Can't say that I'm all that interested in Springer's design, but I'll wait and see how the actual toy looks before giving it too much thought.

Where is this 4th mode you speak of? I look at the pic and see a robot mode and his two alt modes, a cybertronian car and flight mode (with pictures of their backs as well). Is there another pic I can't see?

I'm interested to see how they do Springer, cause I distinctly remember staring at the concept art of those modes for a while and thinking "No way this'd work as a real toy, good thing this is just concept art durr durr!"

YES!   I've been in love with that Springer design since I saw the pictures from the book, and he'd look great with Ultra Magnus, and the Wreckers later this year! (And that will give me no reason not to get Magnus now.  )

 

The Springer pic is concept art from the FOC artbook. There was no Astrotrain design (released at least) for FOC. I can only assume that RK put up that picture of Springer because it's the only example of a FOC Springer design. Without prototype images or official word from Hastak there's really no telling if this actually will be the design...

 

actually springer being in the FOC line kinda works since he really didnt have an earth alt mode. i do believe all the season 3 bots were cybertronian altmodes.

as far as being voyager, the sizes of the classes have been suspect have they not? so lets wait and see how big he actually is when he comes out.
