was there unused concept art for astrotrain in the back of the FOC artbook? that springer art looks familiar so it might have been in there too. I'll have to look when I get home.

I don't know about the design but the toy was FOC alright, Full Of Crap imo.

the springer robot mode looks nice and that's what matters to me. the heli mode looks nice too. RK does say that these are concept art for the figure. as far as astrotrain goes, i hope he resembles his G1 and isn't just some random bot using the name astrotrain. it's a shame what they did to blast off and the combaticons in the FOC line.

Yeah he's bigger, but if Soundwave and Grimlock are any indication then this Springer could tower over classics prime not to mention everyone in the FoC line, which imo is too big.

Springer & Astrotrain (& FOC Voyagers in general). MPs out of the whazoo, insecticons, Vehicons, Shockwave (and a voyager of that too iirc), Fort Max reissue etc etc.

This is what happens when Bayverse figures are not taking centre stage, clogging up the lines

My apologies to movie fans, but could we ask Hasbro to skip the upcoming movie line in 2014?

Why would we wanna do that? We need the movie lines to fund the non-movie lines.

HO-LEE WOW!!! If this is true FoC Springer will replace TFCC Springer, Universe 2 Springer & GDO Springer (never decided which to keep) in my Classic-verse collection.

The FoC designs fit the futuristic designs of some TF's and Springer is definitely one that I think it works for. Not sure what I'll do with a FoCing Astrotrain though. Toyfair can't get hear soon enough. Now we just need Blitzwing and Broadside as I am sure there is a Sandstorm re-deco /tool planned.
