I like the sound of that. Glow in the dark translucent digital camouflage would suit me fine! Then I would just need an MP Icestorm to round out my big 9.

MP-11 Starscream, Soundwave and Sideswipe are still higher priority for me as far as U.S. releases go. I still have my doubts about whether this is real info though. Wait and see.

 

igear can make her out of the more feminine mp-3 mold,that i might buy from them, but the mp-11 mold does away with the feminine hips, legs, and stomach area

 

As neat as Acid Storm is... that's is questionable saleswise... I mean outside Starscream... the Seeker redecos seem to wind up as hard sales for stores after the initial collector's rush.

MP Soundwave being released by Hasbro is great news though. More accessible price range... similar paint apps... also probably a half year or so away... so yea... might be able to snag him.

 

I'm glad to hear Soundwave has a chance for a Hasbro release, it would be far more affordable, and it could mean that the cassettes also are released as well!

Feminine≠Female. She needs a proper female mold if and when she ever hits the MP line.

It would be like if Strika was repainted from a bulky male truckformer. They deserve better IMO.

US or Australia, who cares - shipping is the same to Europe. What I care about is that Soundwave will cost probably 70-80$, and not 200$ like the Japanese one.
Makes you wonder how much Takara is cashing in on the same toys...

I wonder if Acid Storm will have the same "camo" paint as the Classics toy, or will he be G1-toon-accurate?

 

If Soundwave comes with 3-4 cassettes, I'm betting $100. Look at the price of TC. That equals the price of SW. Then the cassettes equal the price of Prime's trailer.

 

That's awesome... Why aren't we getting a release of Starscream before the obscure characters like Acidstorm.

Well if this is a Hasbro release of MP Soundwave its not much of a surprise but MP Acidstorm is right out of left field . never would have expected it.

I will own an mp soundwave and as for acidstorm we shall see.

 

Lol, I'm probably the only person on here that was really liking the idea of Acidstorm being in the MP line and out of nowhere here he is and, now I'm excited (in a WTF?! kind of way)!

What they need to do is stick Sunstorm in with these two as TRU exclusive, because I'm not trying to pay $180. for that guy.

 

Removed Soundwave from my POL and put it towards red alert and prowl.

 

Then I say fuck the cassettes. Release SW just by himself w/Lazerbeak at the same price point as TC. And then sell the rest of the cassettes later on packaged together in nice box too.

Not everyone can, or wants, to pay $100 a pop for Hasbro MPs. That'd be an awesome way of killing the line.
