It's not difficult to come to the conclusion that I am already adequately Starscreamed prior to this toy release.

 

kinda kool.....starscream reminds me of the movieverse breakaway toy,anyone else think so...screamer should have been done in g1 or even armada colors would have been cool,100% & not half assed like this mold,just say'n...

 

Nobody will ever convince me that that thing is female.

 

It looks like Ripclaw wears a "helmet". I kinda see a mouth sculpted inside the big jaws. Maybe it's a facemask, but I love that headsculpt anyway.

 

what about her twin sister who looks exactly like her and is referred to as a she?

,Anyway, starscream looks like a flying starfish but ripclaw is looking boss.

I would only get Starscream if he was repainted to a different character.

 

Ever since her announcement, we've been through this numerous times. There is no one way to 'look female', especially with robot dragons...


On more important topic: Is that waist articulation she has? Sweet mother of primus..

So far I'm only interested in Wheeljack, Ripclaw, and Smokescreen as far as paying full price for deluxe figures go. I'll snatch up Bumblebee and Lazerback next time I see a B2G1 or B1G150% deal...voyager Optimus is growing on me, and I'm certain Shockwave will be awesome...but all the other figures unveiled so far - including Predaking - look like crap to me...

 

This is why Hasbro/TT don't care what they put out. One person's turd is another person's apple pie!!!

Starscream, what have they done with you? Still not sure what I'll do with him (since I ordered the set of 4 off BBTS) but I suppose painting the yellow bits red is a good start, and possibly painting the pink bits silver. But the squat size and stubby proportions of the BH mold are pretty glaring next to the FE mold.

Ripclaw looks pretty cool, on the other hand.

 

There goes my theory of Starscream being an extensive remould. Ugh, these are ugly. Do not want.

ripclaw looks just amazing and starscream after seeing these pics has grown on me it really is a solid design very steampunk esk. Im now glad I preordered the entire wave.

This wave is by far way better as a whole than the first wave of beast hunter deluxe figures.

 

Starscream is looking okay... I'll probably pick him up if I see him, but not relentlessly hunt him like Optimus or Smokescreen.
