So glad I cancelled my membership.

Took over seven e-mails to get the account cancelled. Initial e-mail was over 6 months in advance of my renewal date! I removed my credit card information from their online system and set the auto-renew to "don't you dare!", and I still got an e-mail warning that they were going to charge my credit card "on file" for my February renewal. Smart.

Nope...can't say I trust them in the least. Third parties are more "official" than the "official" Transformers Collector's Club.

I'm also upset I never got the computer that my credit card was used to purchase when my information was freely given by their awesome Radioshack Tandy systems. I kid, of course.

I have Scourge pre-ordered through an online vendor...but I'll be dropping that. Just not worth it. I still don't understand the logic of removing the two "yearly" figures we were entitled to by being paying members of the club only to turn around and force us to spend more money on a subscription service. Now if the subscription service was in addition to the two yearly figures, that would be one thing, but basically you are paying a membership fee for "access" to the subscription service along with a few newsletters filled with information that TFW2005.com already covered for free, a toy that will probably not come with all of the pictured parts (that we'll have to attend Botcon to fix), and, oh yeah, access to that awesome store with all the hot new Transformers items.

The club should be discounting the membership fees for all you members out there if they aren't going to have a proper online presence, and can't stick to the original guidelines of membership. The Club should have been part of the 10% of Hasbro's layoffs. (I know they don't really work for Hasbro)

So six months, a figure a month, plus more delays, this will roll into 2014, won't it.

I know some folk who have had more fraud issues with the club again recently...betting that was ALSO a contributing factor.

The best part of this is that, of the two choices we have, keep paying or stop paying, neither of them end with "the club improves."

Well, I had no reason to renew my membership and my card info wasn't on the site. Not really surprised to see this though.

My lack of confidence in Funpub is restored. It also seems like Hasbro has missed its shipping date to Walmarts & Targets!

Has Ehobby ever missed a deadline?

Didn't Hasbro take over Botcon over crap like this, and now they seem OK with letting Funpub get away with it over and over.

Well just putting it out there. I might be interested in buying a Breakdown from someone here when he gets shipped off if anyone is looking to sell him off. Feel free to PM me!!

I figured they would have a delay being the first year for this. Not mad. Didn't go for the sub this year, too many figs I did not want. Hopefully Hasbro and TFCC learn from it because this sub idea can be good and get us some great figs in the long run.

I really don't care WHO'S fault it is that these are delayed, I just want my $$$ back so I can forget all about this mess and move on. To cancel my order they'll charge me 25% of what I paid, I wonder if I can get my credit card company to go after them for the full amount.

You still get your Yearly "Freebie" as a member. it is not part of the FSS. I dont recall there being 2 Freebies a year.

I'm not referring to additional "freebies". The club is supposed to offer two addtional exclusives for sale per year (mind you, most of those years they failed to provide two exclusives), in the same category as Astrotrain, Nightbeat, Piranacon, Shattered Glass Drift and Cyclonus, etc...

No. This has zero to do with cash flow. We pay for all projects in their entirety up front.

This is purely a situation where this was a "new" type of project for our friends overseas and there was a hiccup along the way. As we received samples months ago, we had all of our deco's and charts in on time. But again, with new types of projects and protocols outside of what has been the norm for 8 years, challenges can arise getting the product produced.

We appreciate everything they do for us and we look forward to having these items available for ship/sale as absolutely soon as we can.

Not two Freebies. One freebie plus the opportunity to buy one or both (or neither) of the additional Club figures, instead of having to buy all six (or zero) additional Club figures.

I'm still trying to decide which ones to sell, if they ever arrive (but I have a feeling that the ones I want to sell are the ones that a lot of people will want to sell...).

Pete confirmed last year that the subscription replaces the two figures a year.

I like the subscription model SO MUCH MORE regardless of hiccups.

The subscription service is great for completists, but not for people that want to pick and choose. In that case, the two exclusives for sale on the site worked better (if you can say the process worked at all, since it was like pulling teeth to get an order through...)

I seem to have deleted my confirmation e-mail for my order and the club store says that there's no record on file for my account (which I haven't renewed). Was the subscription sold at the store or was there a seperate place for it? If there WAS a seperate place, does anyone have a link so I can check there?

And that's exactly what I did when I was interested in Scourge. Which I have now cancelled.
