He means the TFCC will never have any incentive to clean up their act and correct all their mistakes and shortcomings as long as people keep lining up to throw their money at them. The only way to get that point across to them is by keeping your wallet shut. There are other ways of still getting the toys available to you that doesn't involve FunPub.

I mean, if you keep ordering a killer pizza from somewhere, and half the time the delivery guy is late and it's cold, or he dropped it, or just put it in the warmer thing upside down, none of which completely ruins the pizza...then why do you keep giving them your buisness? Especially if the owner/manager doesn't seem very inclined about shaping up or just getting better delivery personnel since the pizzas are still flying out the door. Just because they make a killer pizza shouldn't excuse them for the bad service.

Their update was a vague "It's Hasbro's fault", so it's not entirely their fault this time. Still, I don't think was it a good move on FunPub's part to start taking people's money when apparently the sub thing was still being ironed out and nothing was set in stone yet. And then going all silent on the matter afterward.

The 10% they are letting go handle this. (IE: Fun Pub found a convenient excuse. ;)  )

Did anyone get an email about this? My spam filter is empty of emails, so it's not been caught up there.

I'm a big supporter of the club, but it would be nice that members get notified by email at the same time as it goes on the website.

Not all of us follow them on every social media feed and not everyone visits the website daily.

No email. If they post on their website they should also do it on twitter and facebook. Wonder if the SG Soundwave and blaster sets will be delayed also.

This right here....hell, you can take out "TFCC" and input any other name, Hasbro, Takara, any 3rd Party....and it would still be a pertinent comment.

Whatever you guys do, please don't email the club and ask them questions. They don't need any unnecessary work.

This company is incredibly awful at what they do. Their attitude, customer service, efficiency, everything... absolutely the worst. They're a step up from outright scammers, and it's almost fun to watch from a distance.

I don't understand why anyone is thinking this would affect the payment schedule. Wasn't it always dependent on when the first one ships, and not some specific month? It's pretty safe to assume it will still be after the first one ships, whenever that ends up being.

It's impossible to disagree with this, I'm afraid.

Yea, but they are the only game in town for some items, and weather I am going through a middleman, or directly through them, the money is still going to them, and I for one am not going without certain figures in my collection. It is fun to watch sometimes. I gotta just find my password to turn off my auto-renewal though, don't need the club figure next year.

This seems to be a hold up at the factory so why blame TFCC?

Sad. I'm patient enough, but there are a couple of those figures I just plain need.

I wonder if this will affect next year's subscription service. When did the pre-orders for this go up? If the first figure doesn't ship till May, the last one will ship in October. Are they going to make us sign up for next year's before we've got all of this year's?

And I just realized this means they'll be trying to put on Botcon at the same time they're getting shipments of these figures in and trying to ship them out to us. I have to wonder if they'll just decide to hold off on starting to send them out until Botcon is over.

They hold the licensing aspects. Names, visuals, etc. Would have thought that these has already been taken into consideration during the design stage, though. Unfortunately, because the club is an official Hasbro sponsored/endorsed entity, everything and I mean EVERYTHING has to go through them to protect "The Brand".

As far as the club itself, the only thing I have a problem with is the inconsistency and lack of information flow. When it comes to Botcon info or the site in general, they need to pick up the pace. We've had no Forum for what? A year? Botcon is only 5 months away and no pricing info, reveal of anything convention related except for a location and theme. The theme seems lackluster only because of the toyline it's based off of. There's definitely some opportunity to shine.

I will say this though, the people are really nice and they've always addressed issues I've had through emails or while on the phone. It's for that reason alone that I stay with the club. Well, that and the exclusives are pretty nifty. :popcorn

Why let logic get in the way of ranting and hating?

I don't remember there ever being an announced ship date for the first subscription figure so I don't feel like I've been delayed any. Being in the UK I'll be getting my toys long after most anyway so what's another delay?

Well...this is NOT a problem with TFCC. I dont understand why so many people are blaming them. The issue here is with HASBRO!
