I can't believe how well the mold works for Banzaitron. Thought it would be clear cut who I'd pick, but with these pics I still have no idea which Air Raid to get. At this point I might just say screw it and just get both. Which is exactly what I didn't want to do. Oh well.
The gray/silver paint on Ultra Magnus seems a bit too dull for me, it would have been better if they had tried using a more G1 white to keep his colors as bright as Hasbro's but with the better detailing. Kickback looks excellent, though, and Fireflight/Air Raid might as well be a new character, so both are worth the import dollars to pick them up. Starscream and Sideswipe are a pass, as much as I like the game accurate blue head on 'scream and the glossy red on 'swipe, neither is really a huge improvement over Hasbro's and worth the extra cost.
Since FoC/Generations is mainly what I collect, it's mighty tempting to get the Takara releases of all the FoC figures...they're just so damned gorgeous...each and every one. But, with shipping costs, it's pretty much $40 a figure...just for deluxes...
