This is great news! Kids will love these -- and if kids are interested in our hobby, then it stays healthy and we get more of the toys we like. Everyone wins.

Glad to see Hasbro isn't just rehashing the same stuff. Good work!

Some of these look beyond awesome, and others are... blegh.

Hit and miss line for sure. But a new Blitzwing is pretty nice.

Neat idea... but like with the Kre-O attempt I'm not about Lego style Transformers where I'm forced to completely disassemble the toy in order to make a new mode. I get that some kids (and adults) get off on that sort of thing and to those folks I say more power to you, but this doesn't strike any chord of fancy with me.

Meh. Remind me of the old Built To Rule figures...though, these look a tiny bit better.

At any rate, the Kre-O are better.

What about this line made all the Geewunners crawl out of the woodwork anyway? I don't usually see ten new ones in a given thread.

And that is NOT a term I use often, or lightly. But it seems to fit.

Oh yeah, I'm also curious, why was everyone acting like Hasbro lost the ability to use the name "Blitzwing?" We had one in '08 or '09.

There is ZERO chance of this.

These are "Constructibots Scouts, Elites, Triple Changers, and Ultimates."

Not "Generations Scouts, Deluxes, Voyagers, Ultras, and Leaders."

If plastic was this scarce none of us would be buying these stupid things. And Hasbro's bottom line would be a lot more important than re-dos of secondary characters.

I'll have to look at these pics again, but I wonder if this means that Blitzwing could be improved with Soundwave/Optimus/Megatron parts. I'm not much for customs or tweaking but that kind of is what these are made for.

Also, it makes sense that they aren't screwing around with a line like this and releasing like two figures so you use up all combos immediately.

Oh and, not hunting down the quote from a couple pages back but I have to say, I personally always liked Wheeljack better than Ironhide, and at the very least they are comparable in impact. Hasbro had a weird lack of interest in WJ for quite awhile though.

That said, they usually like to release popular characters in lower-end assortments. Blitzwing is NOT suddenly "bigger" than Starscream.

I actually really like Soundwave and Bumblebee. Bumblebee looks pretty awesome in jet and bot modes.

This is a really neat concept. I can't wait to see how these end up.

Ugh, this fandom right now. It's like the stupid comes in waves. I am looking at a Soundblaster repaint of FoC Soundwave right now that says that every one of you braindead "OMG they iz pooping on true fanz with theeez" grown-ass babies haven't the foggiest idea how much effort Hasbro puts into this franchise to try to make collectors happy. Just shut up already. If you dislike something vehemently, guess what? Nobody, and I do mean NOBODY, wants to read about it. No one cares.

And the Constructibots aren't even my cup of tea! (Neither were the parts of Kre-O that weren't Kreons... or Wheeljack.) But you know who's gonna love it? Just love it to pieces? Actual children, like my kid. People who deserve to be happier with Transformers than you vapid, vacuous non-entities.

Oh. I was thinking those would be the perfect Fall of Cybertron toys. I just never expected them to do it. Well, if this is the surprise they promised us, this is something I doubt anyone was expecting. And as unoriginal as it is, I'm kind of looking forwards to this line.

Meh, not necessarily bad, but they really aren't my thing. I didn't buy Kreo for the same reason as I won't buy these... I'm not really into Legos or Bionicle. So, to those that like them have fun, but I won't be picking these up. The return of Blitzwing actually makes me hopeful for a Generations Voyager figure.
