Think I'll cancel my pre-order for Beast Hunters Voyager Prime and Predaking with BBTS and hold off on those until they get pre-orders up for the Shockwave assortment. Might be easier and/or cheaper to get Shockwave in a set of three with the other two, rather than on his own.

 

You know, given electronics are still clearly a consideration for Voyagers, going off Grimlock, and how little space lights take up these days (they were able to wedge them in Grimlock's head after all)...

Would anyone be opposed to Shockwave having lights built into either his chest or gun? Then we could maybe get a lightup eye/chest.

 

Well that's no surprise at all. The big question is going to be is what his alt mode is. I'm hoping for a tank myself. I'm also a bit disappointed that there is only one new Voyager in Wave 2.

Speaking of which, where the hell is Beast Hunters, anyway? The TF shelves at all my stores are utterly devoid of life.

I'm sure he'll have a light-up something.

 

Have you folks considered the 2013 Botshot/Jumpshot Shockwave might be based on the Prime version of Shockwave ? and that the Cybertronian vehicle mode he has might be a similar tank.

But you never know he may never be shown to Transform at all and he might only ever be in 2 eps and then get killed off by Predaking to show how hard he is with Shockwave having never Transformed.

After all if you have Shockwave unless they play it for laughs between they why would you need Knockout still ? it does not bode well for one or the other to me.

Oh yeah Voyager Shockwave. FOC Shockwave can now officially stay with the Classics guys from now on.

I have a feeling that he'll be designed like Smoekscreen with the spikes being just attachments you can easily take off so he can be Season 2.

No, he wont. Worst case, he has "armor" like Smokescreen, but I kind of doubt it. The character is already kind of spikey and we haven't seen a vehicle for him yet. I don't think he will need a BH upgrade.

 

Probably more Prime/Movie style crap. I predict yet another disappointment as we get yet another "not quite Classics" Shockwave. Can't thy just make the toy as a Classics style Voyager PLEASE?

 

So this WalMart rumor coming from the poster Ominous Prime-Evil is true after all especially for Voyager Shockwave. I recalled some people were calling bogus because of the lettering in the system. So now 3/5 from that list had been confirmed. Let's see:

Yes! And since it's wave 2, pics shouldn't be far off. I have a hunch Hardshell won't be his wavemate, though. That Magnus from the rumor is my guess.

I always wonder whatever happened to the immense praise it got when it was first revealed, which it still deserves.

Even if we only get a half decent toy based off the animation character model we’ll be able to forget tiny anorexic Shockwave ever exists. He's just a bad Air Raid redeco.

 

We can all proably assume he will have that narrow small waist because his upper chest is just so broad. But hopefully his legs and huge chest with that huge arm together make up for the tiny waist. Also im hopeing they nail his cannon that thing in the show is pretty BA.
